Probably blowed the small fuse near the heat source. Maytag dryers are known to get slipping blowers and a large comforter would cause overheat with an already bad blower and a partially clogged filter chute. What I would do is get the front off and remove the drum ,clean the the lint out of the machine and inspect for loose blower wheel. The fuse is usually mount right near the heater element and some are held to the heater chamber by the same screw that holds down the element.
I worked on one style of Maytag Machine and did a video:

if you alter the standard ride height where standard travel shocks are installed , you have to alter the shocks to accommodate the difference in travel for the shocks
2" higher = 2 "longer shocks or 2"' lower =2 " shorter shocks next use a shorter bump stop for the arms so that the stop is not hit on the slightest bump
remember that the engineers design the car for maximum stability and ride comfort and when you decide that you are not happy and change it then stability , road handling and comfort all go out the window

Brookstone Pure Ion Pro clicking noise, ineffective. I understand the "sparking" is ok, but my unit doesnt "spark". The fans run, and the unit makes two different clicking noises; ...

did you ever figure out the clicking noise problem?
mine stared doing the same darn thing after I whashed the filters and inserted them into the units, I used the builted in drying setting, and thats when the problem started. I know you are not supposed to run the unit with a wet filter, thats why I put it on the dry mode first. I think I am just going to return them back to Brookstone.

Dryer makes rumbling noise intermittently

It sounds like a faulty roller under the drum. Need to pop the top of the dryer, then remove the front -- you'll probably easily spot the faulty part.

Kenmore gas dryer 97273100 was drying, but making a loud noise

You need a belt. Here's a link to a site with a good set of instructions if you want to try repairing it yourself. (You should DIY. You can save a bunch on the service call and the belt is only about $20.)

Love your choice of car!As far as the flooding goes take your air filter assembly off and while some one is cranking the car and you do the throttle you can see how much fuel is going into the engine. If too much you will smell and see a lot of fuel,it may be that that pump or associated fuel parts have dried out etc and no longer working.Put a little bit of fuel into the carburettor and see if it fires up.that will isolate the problem to being a fuel delivery issue and not electrical or ignition.Let me know how you go and if you need any other help

Kenmore 90 plus series dryer won't work

Sounds like the belt has broken. You could probably also use new drum support rollers. Check out this site which shows how to change a dryer belt:

It's not a difficult job if you're comfortable working with hand tools.
