SOURCE: clicking noise

If you have a samsung hard disk drive. they will start to make a noise after a while.I say samsung because I haven't ever heard another drive make the noise as loud as the samsung. This is the drive parking the heads to save power on the battery. The drive is going to fail on you if it is very noisy. (sounds like a coin hitting a wood floor) You can disable the power savings on the drive in some operating systems. Not sure about osx. I only used desktops with that os. I would emagine it is possible.

SOURCE: light clicking sound from outside whirlpool french

Check the fan blade on the fan in the freezer. It could be an object or ice, frost, anything. If this is an Amana Whirlpool, definitely check to see if the fan blade is no longer tight on the motor shaft and has moved forward and hitting the guard in front of it. ( yes, amana whirlpool )

SOURCE: Not firing. usually clicking sound until gas fires up.

If the unit has power, then not likely a bad breaker. The clicking sound you hear is the spark ignitor lighting the pilot. If you no longer hear this noise, the most likely cause is the spark control box, about 3 inches wide, 6 inches tall with wires connected to it.
If you provide the model number of the heater, I can send you a troubleshooting chart to determine if the spark control is bad or possibly a themostat or internal safety.

SOURCE: 1999 Nissan Quest while turning left it makes a clicking sound. What could be wrong.

it sound to me like you have a cv joint worn out. these are located on either end of your driveshafts and dependant on where and what side the noise is will indicate which 1 needs replacing. usaually caused by a split cv gaitor leading to an ingress of dirt and water.

Severe squelch in left ear phone

The design of these headphones includes a microphone on the outside and on the inside of each earcup. The outside microphone detects outside noise. The inside microphone monitors what you are hearing and when it detects that the outside noise is present inside, the active noise-canceling circuits remove that noise. This happens fast enough that you perceive a significant reduction in the outside noise getting to your ears.

The airspace inside the earcup is a tuned chamber defined by the shape of the foam in the ear cushion. This is important because with the inside microphone in close proximity, but at a 90-degree angle to the speaker, the circuit must be designed to eliminate the normal feedback that occurs.

If the foam in the ear cushion has weakened/deteriorated to the point that it no longer has it's original shape, (in particular the lower half of the ear cushion), the size and shape of the air chamber inside of the earcup is directing more of the speaker sound toward the microphone than the design can compensate for causing audio feedback to occur. You are hearing that feedback.

On my QC-3 headphones, I can cause the feedback squeal in both earcups, with the left earcup being more sensitive to the shape change than the right.

It is probably time to replace the ear cushions. If so, they are available from Bose for $35/pair.

Right turn signal doesnt work.

Turn signal "flasher" relay has gone bad most likely. Turn on the left turn signal (the one that works) and trace the click click sound by ear until you find the flasher relay, most likely under the dash on the driver side. When you think you've found it, put your finger on it and you will FEEL it clicking. Turn off your turn signal and pull the relay straight out. Go to the auto parts store and get a new relay and reinstall in the same spot you pulled the old one from.

When im driving my truck i can here a clicking noise coming from the outside of driver's side. It would come off and on, or sometime when i reverse and sometimes depend on how fast the truck is moving....

Sounds like you have a bad CV joint. Roll down your windows and drive the vehicle slowly while turning to the left and right. If you hear clicking coming from your drivers side then your CV joint bearings are worn. Replace the CV arm.

Engine like is on ,monday i heard i clicking noise in the fuse box under dash

That clicking sound could be a bad relay clicking on and off. Find it by putting a screwdriver handle to you ear and touching each relay until you find the one making all that clicking. Replace it.Good luck and be safe

My Bose QC2 make a weird noise when I move my head

I fixed the problem by putting the ear **** up against my face with my mouth inside of the ear piece, as if my mouth would've been listening to music. Make sure it is air tight around your mouth. I gently sucked air out of the air ****, and it fixed the problem!!! The speaker must of gotten dented in a little bit from to much pressure at some point or another by pressing up on the ear piece while they were on my head. The things are so air tight. Hope this works for you too. :)

Blank screen with flashing curser in top left hand corner,

I need a little bit more info.

Do you have a floppy disk in the floppy drive? Remove it. Do you have a CD in the CD drive? Remove it and restart your notebook.

Put your ear on the left side of the track pad. Do you hear any clicking sounds? Do the same for the right side. Do you hear any clicking sounds? If you hear any clicking sounds, and it seems to be constant, you may have a failed hard disk drive.

Try these thing and let me know what happens. Binary Bob
