Question about Xerox Office Equipment & Supplies
Whenever I try to Scan to PC on our Xerox WorkCentre 7232, I get an error code: 016-579.
Strangely enough, my first 2 attempts were successful, then suddenly it stopped scanning. No settings had changed on either copier or computer.
I am (was) scanning to a Mac using FTP, the server on the client machine is running, can ping the copier from my computer, permissions are OK, route to directory is OK...
Any suggestions will be much appreciated.
Could be as well an authentication problem..configuring anonymous logins with empty passwords.

Did you ever find a solution to this problem. We are having the same problem on our Docucolor 242. The first two "SCAN to PC" jobs work fine, but we get several 016 errors for any jobs after that. This machine had been working fine for 18 months before this started happening a week ago.

Your error code usually means: Scanner can not find the specified folder/storage location
-wrong document path
