Question about Panasonic PT-LB60U Multimedia Projector
When connected to power, status light on power switch lights up green, and unit powers up for about 5-10 seconds, then shuts off. Tried a known good bulb (we have 12 of these units), but same result. No warning lights come on during startup. Normally, when the unit is plugged in, the Power button light goes red for standby until button is pressed for start.
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.

ya thers class action law suit on that bulb your talking about it will go out after 3 mo pp say its reall bad
I read in the various forums that frequent lamp failure can be caused by a defective ballast. I have not seen the schematices for the TV but typically a ballast controls current flow in a lamp. If I understand your post correctly it sounds like you have had a lamp failure per month for three months. I would recommend that you contact Panasonic 800-211-7262 and see what they propose. I think there is a design flaw with this model and they may be taking care of the problem. I would expect that a repair to the ballast would be a shop repair. Please post what response you get from Panasonic.
call them alot pp say they give u free one cuse they knw better ok

SOURCE: PT-LB20VU unit won't power on
check for the following:-.
1--the power cord may be disconnected.
2--main power switch is turned off.
3---no voltage(electricity)in wall outlet.
4-the lamp cover has not securely closed.
5--check for blown power fuse and change it with the same rate.
6--defective power supply unit.---.

This is a faulty Mainboard that will need either repair or replacement.
If a Projector starts playing on and off tricks I have found it to be 99% of the time a faulty Mainboard.

There is an additional problem,
if the bulb had been replaced by a technician, call them back and ask for additional support, since they did not fix the problem.
