SOURCE: graco quatro wheel removal

i have the graco quattro tour sport, i put it together & noticed the swivel lock was missing! I have to take the wheel back tonight but i had already put it on the pram! after reading 'Adorough's' comment i had good look at the wheel to figure out how to get it off. 1) fold the pram up and stand it so the front wheels are up. 2) if you look round the back of the front wheel you should see a round 'pin' which is set back, you well need a pen or something pointy to press the pin in & pull the wheel! That worked for me.

Will a 2002 dyna front wheel fit a 2003 dyna?

Yes, it should fit. Typically, the only thing that would cause it to not fit would be the inside diameter of the wheel bearings. As I remember, the 02 and 03 Dynas had a 3/4" axle but I could be wrong. It is a simple matter to knock the bearings out and replace them with a different inside diameter to fit your axle.

How to fit front wheel bearings Which brand to use for quality

If the car is front wheel drive a puller is required to dismantle the hub a rather involved job better left to a mechanic .If rear wheel drive do the following. ( Applies to front wheel drive also.) Chock rear wheels, loosen front wheel nuts, jack up car, fit safety stands, remove wheel , remove grease cap from axle. remove split pin or locking nut on axle ,Remove hub, with a punch drive out the grease seal ,the tapered cone bearings can now be removed, the 2 bearing cups still in the housing will have to be pressed out ,all old grease has to be cleaned out. the new cones must be repacked with high temp bearing grease . tap in the seal with the lip facing inwards , slide on the hub fit the outer cone to the axle , the spacer and nut goes on next, tighten the nut to seat the bearings , spin the hub make sure its free to spin, back off the nut one eighth of a turn fit a new split pin or lock tab. fit grease cap and road wheel.

HELP! The front double wheel of my Graco travel system just snapped off. Luckily my 13 month old daughter wasn't hurt, but this is now unsafe. What do we do to make it usable again?

If the wheel just popped off, I certainly would not continue to use this product, Contact Graco and tell them what happened. I am sure they will take care of this, and there may even be a recall on your Graco Travel System. Contact Graco here: http://www.gracobaby.com/ContactUs/pages/ContactUs.aspx?page=ContactUs

Whats makes the front end shake if you have replaced the brakes, roders, caliperes, and everything else that has to do with the brakes

Front end vibration has little to do with the brake system on the car. Yes you can get some "brake shudder" when you apply the brakes when you have worn brake rotors or when the rotors are not properly aligned on the hubs. However from what you have said you do not have this problem.

Front end vibrations can be caused by a number of factors some of which are listed below:

1. Front wheels out of balance. (Common problem on many vehicles).

When were the front wheels last balanced? You will get vibrations through the car and the steering wheel at particular speeds. This will/could also occur if the wheel rims have been distorted as a result of abuse.

As a first step the wheels should be balanced and then retest the vehicle for the problem.

It can be impossible to properly balance some wheels because the tires fitted to the rims are of poor quality and contain heavy spots that are impossible to correct with wheel balance weights. If you have cheap tires fitted on the wheel rims then it may be impossible to balance the wheels properly because of the imperfections in the tyre. In that case you will have a permanent wheel vibration problem which will only be rectified by fitting good quality tires and re-balancing the front wheels.

If aftermarket wheel rims have been fitted to the vehicle this can also be a source of vibration. Some wheels on the market are poor quality and can be slightly out of round and/or have heavy spots in them which can be impossible to correct when you fit the tires and have the wheels balanced. Many people think a cheap set of "blingy" aftermarket wheels are a great buy but if they are poorly built (as is often the case) you will usually have no end of problems.

2. The front wheel alignment could be out.
If the front wheels have not been aligned in the past 12 months they probably will be out of alignment. When you have re-balanced the front wheels you should have the front wheel alignment checked and then re-aligned if it is out. However if their are worn suspension components (see 4) found on the car which need to be replaced, this repair needs to be done before the front wheels are re-aligned.

3. Worn out wheel bearings in the front hubs.
If your front wheel bearings are badly worn you can get a vibration through the steering wheel. If the vehicle has done about 100000 miles or more on the front wheel bearings they should be replaced. In any event , any competent mechanic can jack up the front of the car and check for excess play in the wheel bearings.

4. Worn out suspension components. The front end of the car should be checked for badly worn suspension and steering components.

I would recommend you take the vehicle to a competent mechanic or a suspension specialist in your area and have them check the vehicle for you.

I hope this helps.

Have 5.5x14 alloys on a triumph stag will 7x14 fit pcd is same

ALL wheels have different offsets, you will need to try the wheel on the car to check the "offset".....will it touch the wheel arch/suspension arms/steering rods on the front and fit inbetween the wing/frame at the rear.you may find restricted turning capability from the fronts.......(why would you want to ruin a classic cars looks by fitting these wheels anyway?)

We just bought a womens lakeshore 26" and the assembly instructions are terrible. How do you affix the front wheel?

The front wheel axle fits into the fork, there is a U shaped notch in each fork leg at the end of the fork. There are two washers with bent tangs on them that fit into holes just above where the axle fits into the fork. Slide the washers onto the axle, one on each side. the tangs on the washers should fit into the small holes above each U shaped notch that the axle is in. Next screw on the nuts supplied for the fork. The tire should be centered between the fork legs before you tighten the nuts to secure the front wheel to the fork.
