Sagging handle on Emtek door lock set

My front door has a very nice Emtek cast bronze door latch set with a deadbolt. a few months ago the inside handle started sagging so I looked on line and did not see what I thought the problem might be. At any rate it turned out to be super simple so I thought I would post the fix hear with pics.
I simply removed the interior side of the lock set and found that the spring that holds the lever handle up had slipped off its stop. I simply removed the lock washer that holds it in place, re positioned the spring behind the stop and it works great now.
I am not sure how the spring slipped off, as it is quite tight but I am sure it had something to do with two ten year old boys going in and out constantly ;-)

E3 f5 code

What washer do you have? Each manufacturer has different error codes.

Washer door will not unlock. I powered off/on but the door stays locked. It continues to display E3/F5 error codes and the locking mechanism is clicking but it remains locked with clothes still in it.

First, unplug your machine. You will then need a T-20 torx driver - remove the 3 screws at the bottom of the front panel. Pull down on that panel and you can then pull it away from the washer. Once you have done that, reach up and you should feel a ring just below the door lock. Pull that ring and the door will open.

Be aware though that the Fr error for Whirlpool use to mean a drain problem. If the machine does not drain, it will not want to let the door open. After you get the clothes out, if you want additional help, let me know.

Need to clean inside of handle on KitchenAid food processor

The plastic for the work bowl / handle is molded and one piece and cannot be disassembled. My best recommendation is to call Kitchenaid customer service to see what recommendations they have. Within one year warranty, they may replace the work bowl at no cost.

Their toll-free number is: 1-800-541-6390.

Common problem on 2001 Ford Explores. The reason why your door handle doesn't unlock the door(can't be unlocked by remote either)is due to a broken spring located on the backside of the door handel INSIDE the door. True that your one(or two) of your small exterior springs on your door handle are broken(will cause your handle to flap) but this IS NOT YOUR PROBLEM. The door locks will work if there is a bit of tension holding the handle bracket up. I know it's hard to explain without pics. but here's the ONLY WAY TO FIX THIS. It's not that hard.......... Remove the door panel, only a few screws and a few more holding trim around exit handle then, pull out "snap in" clips on bottom. With a flashlight you'll see back side of door handle. To get to that area you'll have to remove one bolt holding a window frame. Do that(with window in up position) then slide down rail, out of your way. Now, get back to handle. With your light aimed at the backside of handle left slowly the door handle as normal, and you'll realize(while looking at the mechanism) that tension(pulling down of bracket) needs to occur in order for locks(manual and remote)to work properly. Trust'll figure it out. Once you do, get a spring(pen spring, 30 cent hardware store spring, any small spring!) and hook one end to bracket and the other end to ANYTHING(OUT OF THE WAY) below the door handle thus, causing SLIGHT tension. Try your locks...THEY WILL WORK! YEAH! Replace that one window frame bolt(try your window...just the make sure), replace door panel and your done. TOTAL COST: 30 cents or FREE(if you have a small spring) Ford dealers will charge $150 to $285! Yikes!

Main Chassis bar won't lock on one side

We had a similar problem, the right-hand hinge of the frame would not lock and the button was permanently down. What had happened was the handle extension switch housing had come unscrewed and slipped up the frame, causing a small spring to fall out. The lock switches each have a spring which pushes down on a rod inside the frame to lock the hinge. To access the spring, unscrew the handle extension housing and slide it up the aluminum frame. I replaced the missing spring and the frame works perfectly. If the problem is with the spring, this should work. Alternatively the problem may lie inside the lock switch housing, which contains a very simple mechanism which slides the lock rod up and down. This can be unscrewed as well. As far as I can tell, the actual hinge assembly itself is a sealed unit and can't be opened, but hopefully, you won't have to.
Good luck,
