You can use, hdmi, component/composite or svideo to connect the tv to the computer.
depends on the computer, and what connectors it had. If your computer only has VGA or DVI output you may be able to convert dvi to hdmi. Depends on the computer but there are many ways you can connect it.
Actually looking at the documents of this tv you can use VGA. see this page
ones its connected. if its the 2nd monitor for that computer then it need to be enabled, if its the main monitor of the computer it should work automatically.
right click on your desktop and select properties from the displayproperties select settings, on the settings page look if you see 2monitors there, right click on the number 2 and select attach.
ona vista computer its right click on desktop, personalize, then displaysettings, and on the display settings page same as above.
if its a laptop then look at the laptop keyboard, press FNbutton and look at the F1-f12 keys, one of them should enable theexternal display.
if you get signal out of range or similiar, try adjusting the display resolution in the same place, try higher and lower, and diffrent color settings
1366 x 768 pixels or smaller should work

Photo impact pro as a software has compatibility requirements. For example, impact pro was invented during the times of windows Xp operating systems with Microsoft computers. Imply that, impact pro would hardly function with apple Mac computers. Since the Xp operating systems, computers have gone through design fronts of Windows Vista 1 & 2, and recently displaying Windows 7 on those acquired on the market over years ago. The most recent multimedia photo editor software's acquirable on the retail market have compartibilies with more recent computers. Alternately, performing a computer alteration may achieve installation capabilities. First, finding a computer still functioning on windows XP, millennium, 2000 or 1998 would make installation possible. However, sustain wearsomeness since windows 98 earlier years computers were least designed for multimedia capabilities as known with Photo Impact Pro 8.5. Second, a possibility of acquiring Windows Xp disk software on the retail market to replace the one on the computer would make impact pro installable. However like known of operating system software's, it is only possible to install the same operating system on an existing one on a computer as restoration purposes. If different software should be acquired like XP requesting installation on windows Vista or Windows 7, the entire hard disk drive has to be erased of media traces of the prior. Alerternately, a new operating system may be installed if only a new hard drive, memory cards were acquired to replace the prior on the computer to make possible installation of Photo Impact pro 8.5
