SOURCE: machine not working showing E4 fault

something is stuck in the filter (big olive, valve from baby bottle...) so the water can't get out. Clean filter, then make sure all water is out of the machine (we sucked it out ourselves with a tube and a bucket, ieuw..). Then wait a couple of days: the machine/wires/etc. needs to get dry before you can use it again! Try to turn it on after two or three days. Do not call an expert before you've tried this, it will save you a lot of money... (wish I'd done it...)

My candy dishwasher is CDI505-S,and the problem is that in the coutdown button appeared E4 and the machine doesn'run, please what can I do......

It is most likely that there is flooding in the dishwasher due to water leakage.

This information thread from another model might be helpful in solving the problems.

Good Luck.

What does E4 flashing mean?

E4 means that it is not able to discharge water.

Make sure all water is pumped out of the machine. Switch it off at the wall and unplug. Tilt the machine forward (put a towel down first) all the way till the door is on the floor, and let the rest of the water run out. Return upright.

Hope helps.

I have a Candy dishwasher. Door is open switch on sounds like something (possibly pump) is running and error E4 shown on diaplay. Any ideas please?

Overflow tray (bottom dishwasher). Tilt your dishwasher, pour water and see the reason for the overflow. I blew off the top hose from the pump.

Problem with Candy CDI45, Error E4

The instruction manual defines E4 as "overfilled", a possible reason being too much inlet water. What helped with our machine - removed all dishes inside, then let the machine's pump run briefly to make sure as much water was drained from the system as possible. I then unplugged the device, placed a large towel on the floor around its base, and tilted the machine front-ward, until all water had run out. Lifted the machine back upright, plugged it in, switched on - and voilà! it's working as I speak.
