Question about Apple iPod touch
Its a little black inside the charging slot I don't know if it burnt but its a brand new ipod that I treated gently to so I have like no idea y the heck for no reason its not working cause I bought it from best buy and they always make good deals but if any if you guys would know how to treat this kind of problem please comment cause my dad cannot find out that my ipod is already broken
Are you using the charger that came with the ipod? Some aftermarket chargers don't treat apple products nicely. I would take it back where you bought it and check it out with them.

First and foremost, make sure you have the latest software INSTALLED.
If your iPod is frozen or won't turn on, connect your iPod to your computer, then press and hold the "Menu" and "Select" buttons simultaneously for 10 seconds to reset the iPod. Resetting an iPod will not affect your files or preferences.
If your iPod fails to hold a charge and it's more than a year old, you may need a new battery. If it's under a year old, I would suggest sending it in for repair.
