51.20 error

Hi Do the following and good luck. You may have to sen away for parts.

So, please perform the following steps to isolate the issue to its exact cause:

1. Power is an important part of LaserJet printing and inadequate or marginal power supply can cause this sort of issue to occur. Please plug the printer directly into a wall outlet to eliminate the possibility of power issues caused by other power devices.
2. Then, remove the black cartridge and clean the E-label as well as the metallic toner contacts at the cartridge ends using a dry linen cloth. Then reinsert the cartridge.

3. Then, please perform a cold reset on the printer. A cold reset clears all data from the printer memory and sets all the defaults back to the factory settings.

CAUTION: Performing a cold reset resets the Jetdirect configuration. To avoid making changes to the network configuration, remove the HP Jetdirect print server before performing a cold reset.

NOTE: If possible, print a configuration page and menu map prior to performing a cold reset. This will document the current settings for later reference.

Perform a cold reset from the printer as follows:

a. Turn the printer on.

b. Watch the control panel.

c. When the memory starts counting, press and hold the green (Select) button. Continue to hold Select button until all three Control Panel LED's are illuminated and on solid.

d. Release the (Select) button.

e. The control panel will display SELECT LANGUAGE.

f. Press (Down Arrow) button until control panel displays COLD RESET.

g. Press (Select). The printer will perform a cold reset and then continue its power-on sequence.

FF95 SERVICE ERROR CODE IN PRINTER

Does it give a 49.FF95? As their is no such error code "FF95" for a HP 2420. However I've seen 49. XXXX error codes before (XXXX meaning weird Alphanumeric Characters and numbers). This type of error code you can try a couple of Items:
1st - Perform a Cold Reset:
1. Turn the printer off.
2. Hold down the SELECT button, and then turn the printer on. Continue holding down
the SELECT button until all three printer control-panel lights flash once and then
remain on. This might take up to 10 seconds.
3. After the message SELECT LANGUAGE appears on the display, press the
UP ARROW button or the DOWN ARROW button until COLD RESET is highlighted.
4. Press the SELECT button. The printer performs a cold reset and then continues its
power-on sequence.
5. Check all I/O settings and reset any customer-set printer configuration values

If the machine still comes back to the Strange FF95 error I would start with the replacement of the formatter,
Part Number for the Formatter:
Network versions Q3955-60003
Non-network versions Q3953-60001

Hope this helps..

Have kenmore 61951 dryer PF comes on go thru the steps it turns on and then shuts off what could be the problem

PF is a power failure error meaning electricity has been interrupted to the machine. Any electrical interruption to the machine such as a circuit breaker being reset or weather related power outage can cause a PF error code. Try resetting the appliance by disconnecting it from the outlet or switching off the circuit breaker for 20-30 minutes, then restore the power. If the reset doesn't work I suspect the control board has failed.

Getting and err code 49.4c02 service error what does this mean?

4200 49 Error Troubleshooting
Power off the printer before removing the JetDirect, Hard Drive, formatter or memory modules.
Disconnect parallel and/or network cables. (power can be on)
Attempt to duplicate error using only built in test prints.
After determining if you can get errors with the built in tests continue troubleshooting.
Hopefully you will find the problem without having to go through all the steps.
If the printer has a network interface, then power off the printer, remove JetDirect, power on and test machine.

If the printer has a hard drive installed, then power off the printer, remove the hard drive, power on and test machine.
If the printer has more than one memory module installed, then power off the printer, remove the extra memory modules , power on and test machine.
If the printer had more than one memory module installed, then power off the printer, remove the memory module you left in it at the last step, install one or more of the modules you removed, power on and test machine. (if you don't have enough memory the results might be odd)
If the printer will go to a ready state, then attempt to load a firmware upgrade, do this even if the firmware version is current, you might have corrupted firmware.
If the printer will not go ready, and you have already done the steps before this, then perform a cold reset. (if a cold reset is done with a JetDirect installed it will reset all the TCP/IP settings, etc.)
1. Turn the printer power off.
2. For HP Laserjet 4200/4300 Series printers: Hold down SELECT, and then turn the printer power on.
3. Continue holding down until all 3 control-panel lights flash once and then stay on. This could take up to 10 seconds.
4. After the message SELECT LANGUAGE appears on the display, press UP ARROW or DOWN ARROW until COLD RESET is highlighted.
5. Press Checkmark, The printer then performs a cold reset and finishes its power-on sequence.
If there is another 4200 available power off swap memory modules with it, unless you've already proved the memory is working.
If there is another 4200 available power off the machine and swap the formatter cage with it, the formatter is the board that the EIO slots are on, also the parallel port is part of this board. (the formatter cage is held in by two screws, it slides straight back after the screws are removed.
If a cold reset does not help you can try an NVRAM initialization, it is not likely to help, but at this point you are getting desparate.
NVRAM init
1. Turn the printer off.
2. Remove all installed accessories (for example, a stapler/stacker).
3. For HP Laserjet 4200/4300 Series printers: Hold down SELECT, and then turn the printer power on.
4. Continue holding down SELECT until all 3 control panel lights flash once and then remain on. This could take up to 10 seconds.
5. Press UP ARROW.
6. Press the PAUSE/RESUME button. The display should show SKIP DISK LOAD.
7 Press until NVRAM INIT is highlighted.
8 Press Checkmark The printer initializes NVRAM and then continues its power-on sequence.

I have an error code 58.04 on my hp color laser jet cp3525n can you help me out to reslove this error

8.4 suggests that engine power supply failure. The engine power supply mounts in the middle of the machine under where the toner cartridge resides. Lots of work to get to, I'm afraid. Need a service manual? Check out the link below. . .

You could try cold reset:, if you can?
1. Turn printer off.

2. Hold the GO key

3. Turn printer on.

4. Continue to hold the GO key until the printer reads COLD RESET.

5. Release GO.

- INITIALIZING appears.

- Then, RESTORING FACTORY SETTING.

- Followed by OFFLINE.

6. Press the GO key to put back on line.

NOTE: A cold reset resets the HP Jetdirect card. Remove HP Jetdirect card before performing a cold reset

Fuel Line Error code

Could be water in your barrel. Did you replace the filter? It can freeze and block the fuel flow. Check the strainer in the fuel sump. Is your code EE 6 or EE 2. Depending on the code you may need to clean the flame rod.

1998 S-10 cold start

The cold weather wreaks havoc on everything. I am thinking that the cold weather and your octane rating are not getting along, hence no error codes. Have you tried fuel drier and or octane booster?Since the truck starts when the temperature gets warmer, I would look at octane as the culprit. Try some octane booster and see if that helps. Let me know. Hope this helps.
Thanks;
