Printing vinyl

Go to advanced settings on the printer control panel, and look for the type of paper. You may also need a special quick drying ink to print, otherwise, it will smear, and if it doesn't smear, it takes forever to dry!

Printing PDF files from Mac to a Konica Minolta 750 with an IC202 controller. they are taking forever to print. Any solutions?

Adobe has had this type of problem, and they do not acknowledge it. Best answer is to hook printer up directly to the computer, printing over a network, takes forever, and often errors. The issue is Adobe.

Our printer usually prints fine but I have two documents that seem to take forever to print. (6 or 7 mins!) Why is this?

If the document contains large images, it could slow down the printing.
In this case to speed up the printing you could increase the RAM in the printer.

My gcc elite 12/600 takes FOREVER to print any pdf file

its called DPI dots per inch if you lower that DPI to something readable then it will be a faster print.

the issue we have here is PDF (portable document file) they are rich in DPI and your printer just does not catch up to it.

I would suggest lowering the DPI it possiable.

thanks please do be considerate when you rate your free answer that it was free. I would like to address the fact that I am not there checking out the printer thus it could be something else. But please odd try what i said. Rate it and give feedback for the free solution before you leave.

Have a E Machine T3504 desktop. When trying to print from an embroidery software it takes forever for it to print. Sometimes have to restart computer. Any ideas?

You might want to check the memory on your printer, since it your printer has a low memory then it could take forever to print. I would check the setting for the printer and see if the box labeled start printing after last page is spooled, becuase then the printer will wait for the entire document, you want to change that to start printing immediately and make sure spool print documents is cheecked.

My plotter is recieving info. but takes forever to start plotting.

Try turning the nesting function off. This can save paper when you are doing high volume printing, particularly with smaller drawings but wil cause extreme delays if there isn't a steady flow of drawings going to the plotter.
