My Yamaha psr e303 all keys from bass side stop playing what can I do?

You might have the accomp switch turned on?

If not try holding down the highest key whilst turning the keyboard on, this will start a factory reset.

Yamaha YPT 400: ALL re are not working

Hi, If by "re" not working you mean note D then try the following.
Keyboard off, hold down top C key while turning on. This factory resets. Does D key now work - if not. Has it ever worked - if not then it could possibly be the ribbon connector between the keyboard and the motherboard. If one of the cables gets bent then this would stop all notes associated with that connection to stop working. This will only have occured if the keyboard has never played these notes or if it has been taken apart.

You could also try the self test mode : Keyboard off, hold C#,F, G# in the 2nd octave up whilst turning on, cycle through tests to sound if it plays all the notes one at a time then the sound chip is ok and it points to keyboard switching. If test mode does not come up in 2nd octave try 3rd octave ( cant remember which one it is from memory )

Let me know how you get on.

I have a Yamaha PSR-275, for YEARS I played it and one day I turned it on and I started practicing and when I hit one random note (don't remember which one) the whole keyboard turned off. Turned it back on...

My guess is the power socket has failed, a very common fault.
To test my theory plug in the keyboard and turn on without pressing any notes. Move the plug where you plug it into the back of the keyboard from side to side and see if the power turns off. If it does you need to replace the the input socket and probably reinforce the solder tracks on the PCB as they often break. If you can solder the part can be found here or take to a local repairer who should be able to sort it out quickly for you.

Keyboard won't play

Try: turning off keyboard and restarting the computer.
Start up Novation until completely loaded.
Switch on keyboard the set id ports....worth a shot(?)

Keyboard communication can be temperamental when interfacing with computers. Especially when dealing with audio problems, latency problems, inputs and outputs.

Follow the directions specifically in the Novation Manual...it only takes one wrong step to stuff the whole thing up ! :)

Is there an internal reset for my privia 330?

to do a factory reset you Turn the Keyboard off the press and HOLD TONE AND FUNCTION and power the keyboard on while holding them buttons. if you did it right you'll see some wierd start up and flashes and then everything will be back to normal. try a few times if at first it doesn't work. somtimes it's picky.

I have a Yamaha ypp 100 keyboard that was sitting idle for awhile. When I turned it on and started to play there was no sound/an extremely faint sound from the speakers.

Try headphones... possibly the switch contacts on the headphone jack which disconnect the speaker when headpones are plugged in. If you can hear via the headphones, check the switch contacts. Also look for a loose cable.

Contacts can oxidize when idle for a long time.

Yamaha v50 keyboard won't boot up

The 2013 button battery must be replaced to boot up. You should find or make a battery holder with two leads to replace the soldered in battery.

Keyboard doest work

Normal 0 Assuming that you have good batteries installed, turn the Keyboard over and locate the small reset/connect button on the back of the keyboard and press it. Then try to see if it is working. If not try pressing the button on the receiver and then on the keyboard.
Turn the mouse over and find the small rest/connect button on the bottom of the mouse and press it. This should connect the mouse to the receiver and work properly. If not, try pressing the receiver button and then press the button on the mouse. This should be done whenever you change batteries or glitch.
Hope this helps. Bud
