Why wright pneumatic door closer v150 slams closed

Adjust the speed. Adjudsting screw in the end of it (on the door edn). Tun it in to slow down, out to speed up. Should only need 1 or 2 turns. If still not adjusting, replace the unit.

The door does not close on its own

You might want to check the bottom of the door and see if its dragging and make adjustments if it is. Also there are plastic cams at the door hinge pin area that are supposed to help the door close. They get worn and may need to be replaced. You can lift the door off of the hinge pins and inspect them. hope this helps and good luck.

We opened the door, now door won't close. The closer rod is locked open

Turn the screw in the end of the shaft (on the door end) counterclockwise to release all the pressure.Once it closes or slams shut, use that screw to adjust the closing speed. Other problem could be the stay open lock (the metal piece that slides along the shaft) could be all the way out keeping the door from closing. If it is just push on the door a bit then slide the lock plate all the way back to the end of the shaft, and the door will close.

Batteries are affected by cold temperature.
Just like a car battery won't have enough power to turn engine when battery gets weak and it's cold outside.
I'm guess your remote is stored outside in cold garage.
See if remote battery can be replaced with fresh one.

My screen door got latched somehow in a position so that it is held open. How do I unlatch it so it will close?

Hi,
On the door there is a round cylinder type closer that keeps your door from slamming closed and lets it gently close. Now, on the rod of that cylinder that is stretched out is a small clip that will go back against the cylinder to hold the door open. Push the door slightly more open and then move the clip to relaese it and more it back the rod, so the door is able to close....

Door closer problem ....door pops open

PJ, as long as you don't have any shelves preventing the door from closing, it probably is the cam that sits on the bottom of the refrigerator door. In order to change it out you will have to remove the entire refer side door. Lay it down and replace the cams on the bottom. I don't have a model number here so I can't give you a part number. You will have to remove the top hinge and the door will lift up and off. Then replace the cams, you will be able to see how they go on when you take the door off. Before anything check to see that the door is aligned ok. You have some adjustmet on the top hinge. You also have some adjustment by raising and lowering the front wheels. You can also try lubing the cam that is on there now....Catriver.
