Question about Daewoo Washing Machines

1 Answer

Missing filter cap

My DWF-194WD is missing the filter cap that lies in the back of the machine. I bought it from a friend and somewhere between delivering it to me, this part was not included. Without it, the water just runs straight out of the machine. I'd love any help in replacing it or in finding a solution to close this space. I live abroad in Bolivia and have not found a place that sells spare parts here. Thank you!

Thanks so much for the tip regarding flipping the machine on its side. I was about do the lengthy process of disassembling the front and I tipped the machine over instead. Lo and behold, there was the problem in plain sight right away -- the wire to the thermistor had simply come off the connector! I restripped the tip of the wire and crimped it back on the connector, problem solved. Didn't even need a new part!

SOURCE: Hi I have a DWF-6010AP

Hi

Thanks for using FixYa. This issue in your washer occurs mainly due to two things: water inlet valve going bad and/or the water level switch. If the water inlet valve has gone bad it won’t be able to fill even when the electricity has been turned on. If the issue is with the water level switch then it won’t tell the water to fill and the machine will not flow water as this switch is to sense the water level in the clothes tub. However, with that being said it seems that you’ll need to replace the water inlet valve. Please do accept the solution if the issue is resolved or post a comment for further assistance.

Thanks
Rylee

Make sure the drain hose is about 1 metre high from ground. If drain hose is lower the water will keep draining.

The fuel filter is in the tank on the petcock and is self cleaning. I suspect you have bad spark plug caps on your bike the cap is part of the wire. If you remove the wire and take a reading with an ohm meter, the cap should read 5000 ohms . Anything above or below and you should replace the cap. This is probably causing the slight miss.
