WHY is it suddenly, overnight, my Navman EZY 45 has gone from working perfectly to the touch screen hardly working at all? All the buttons have moved ie: You CAN'T touch on the button you want, you need to touch either the one above or below it. As for the Accept and address buttons, well that's just not happening, back = Q and so on.
I have formatted, reloaded maps, done everything Navman has suggested. Is this a Hardware issue? If so, a rarely used 15 month old unit will be going in the bin and I will compare other brands.
Any help appreciated as I love this small but great unit.
Cheers

Hi Jeff, I would get out your test light and start with the main fuse coming off the battery, check for continuity on both sides, then go to your ignition switch and do the same thing, check for continuity, otherwise the usual suspects are:
1. Ignition switch not in the "ON" position.
2. Engine run switch in the "OFF" position.
3. Discharged battery, loose, corroded or broken battery cables, especially the "NEGATIVE" cable at both ends (solenoid chatters).

6. Starter control circuit, relay, or solenoid faulty.
7. Electric starter shaft pinion gear is not engaging or over-running starter clutch slipping.

2000 Buick Regal LS 3.6 - Flashing Dashboard Lights/Wont start

Most likely it is the ignition switch (the key ignition switch) in the steering column ($100 at a dealer).

It may be a loose negative battery ground cable, too.
Check the negative battery cable where it conencts to the engine ground. It may be loose, corroded, damaged, or otherwise not making a good ground contact.

Add a grounding strap ($11 - AutoZone) from the engine to the chassis. That may help, but it's most likely the ignition switch.

1980 Tr7 ignition problem

With the little information you have provided and me not being familiar with your vehicle I can say that the battery connections could be loose or corroded. Battery not fully charged, not engaged in park or clutch pedal not completely depressed. Starter motor pinion jammed in flywheel ring gear. Starter solenoid faulty, starter motor faulty, ignition switch faulty.
