Hi there... Electric chainsaws only use bar and chain oil. If you go to a hardware store or garden power tool outlet, you will find bottles of bar/chain oil. That is all you need. Just fill the reservoir up and top up as needed. Any decent brand will work well.

Have someone do a compression check to check if your valves or rings are worn, and check your spark plugs for oil or signs of burning oil. Check oil pan, oil filter, valve cover, and rear main seal for any leaks and repair as necessary.

have you ever replaced the timing belt? it may cause that condition, before they break often teeth will start to strip off it and the timing can jump and cause it to run poorly but it it jumps too much it will damage the eng as far as the oil consumption, that eng has problems will valve seals.

check the oil level make sure your are using the right weight for your time zone, check the map sensor and the knock sensor, make sure check the fuel pressure at the engine

first check the oil filter from the oil tank,the oil hose,remove the oil pump and check it(especially the plastic gear inside,if it worn is because of the bearings from crankcase).Clean the holes where oil goes.

flush your oil pan then change to a good oil. i use a rotella 15/40

Te 1st thing to do is replace the oil pressure guage sending unit, most times that is the problem, if press remains low use a mechanical test guage to verify what the oil pressure is, hook this tester up at the port the sending unit is screwed into.
