Your going to need an account unless you know a friend that has one. it's a way that microsoft keeps track of things that you do and also if you have a 360 then it helps you play songs with it

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

I download songs onto my computer that I want to ...

I'm assuming you have the Zune software installed. You'll need the software in order to interact with the Zune device, it does not work as a "mass-storage device" like some other media players.
The Zune software will find all your music. Open the software and on the top left make sure you're in the "Collection" and then "Music" category. Then click on the right hand side on the "Songs" tab. You'll see all your songs on your computer. Connect the Zune and wait a few seconds and in the bottom left hand corner of the software you'll see your device connected.
Click on one of the songs and then press "CTRL + A" and all of your songs will be selected. Click and hold and then drag one of the songs to the little icon of your Zune in the bottom left and then all of your music will sync to the device.
Hope this helps.

I had a Zune 30gb and all my music is on my comp with the Zune software. I broke my Zune 30gb and bought a Zune 120gb; but, how do I set this new one up with the software so it can get all my songs?

You will have to re-sync it. You cannot just upload the "image" of your old Zune. You will have to treat is as if you never had a Zune in the first place. You CAN transfer your Zune's name and tags, but you can't have it automatically upload all of the old songs onto it.

How can transfer a song to zune device without having a account?

Use Windows Media Player to transfer existing songs to the device. Do yourself a favor - whichever music service you use, make sure that the songs you download are in mp3 format, or you'll be in this forum everyday down the line. WMA's are positively no good.

Zune program deleting songs from device without permission

You can go to device options and tell the software to just let you choose what to sync, it should not auto delete anything after that...

If you sync manually you should have no problems.

I don't understand Microsoft's motive for auto-deletion on this program... but whatever...
