You need a 21 pin scart lead. It will plug into the rear of the tv and into the rear of the cable box. Note witch socket you plug to on the tv and select that to view. (i.e. plug into av1 on tv, select av1 to view using remote)
I hope this helps.

I have not watched my Sharp Aquos TV in a few months, and I just turned it on and am getting these lines across the screen. Any ideas on why?

It could be a faulty or crossed wire cable have you hooked up another flat screen to see if the same thing appears and remembervto leave all settings the same on your surround sound or tuner. if it stays the same on another flat screen then you know its the wiring in your home going to the tv or you dont have the wires from you tv to you tuner from your surround sound hooked up properly. i hope that you get it figured out and fixed. make sure you triy what i had mentioned. good luck

I tried to hook my wii to the new hd led flat screen but its black and white I tried doing the yello cable to green but it doesnt work and all the other inputs dont have ac jacks its just hdmi hookups

The yellow cable is RCA component and it sould not be connected to the Green port. Why not get a HDMi cable to make the hook up easier? Component RGB connection requires a RGB cable along with a stereo audio cable where as HDMI requires just one.

How do i set the tv settings dont know how to get it on the tv channels

hello. I can help you. These flat panel televisions can be hooked up a number of different ways using a number of different connecting wires and cables. Using your remote, find a button labeled "INPUT". Click that button and a menu will come up on the screen which lists several choices.

Click on one menu item at a time until you get a picture. That will give you the input you need to get it on channels.

Don't know where to hook cable wire into my W4207-Flat Screen

Nice tv - but its a monitor, so there will NOT be a RG6 cable connection on the set. you have to provide a tuner to get signals OR use a cable box, sat box, etc.

Trying to hook compaq presario laptop to philips lcd digital tv

hey fox,
sounds to me like a connection problem. If the compaqs output is vga, you need to convert the input (tv side ) to hdmi, component, s-vidio... what ever you can find. Typically when you hook up your computer to a flat screen or such, its best to try to use the hdmi ports or the rpg. But if thats not available you need to take the outout from your laptop ( whatever type that might be and input it into your flat screen tv. If you input laptop into tv under ( eg..HDMI) then when you VIEW it you need to select the correct source on your flat screen. Such as hdmi or pcmi or rpg.I know that the do sell alot of cables that adapt from one type of connection to another. Typically only one cable is required from the laptop to the flat screen. If you think about it you are only using the flat screen as a monitor.

Surround sound problems

you need an optical cable which it's sort of mentioned in the manual, but because of the multitude of possible ways to connect the TV to the sound surround, I did not figure out either.
I got my optical cable at BestBuy for about $45.00

Toshiba 37 inch TV

do you have the satellite hooked up through the coax cable if so that could be the problem you will have to manually set the settings with the remote. always make sure you have only one thing hooked up at a time. if you have cable and satellite dont hook up both it makes the picture lousy see the owners manual i think its page 58 or somewhere close to there.some times if both are hooked up it will not work at all.
