SOURCE: PT-LC50E LCD Projector

With power available at the projector and the lamp off (projector off) - hold the input button on and press the power button on and hold for 5 secs. This will reset the lamp timer to zero.

I wish they could have stuck this in the operators manual.

SOURCE: cannot access menu screen on Panasonic PT-D3500U projector

If memory serves me correctly, there is an OSD button on the projector itself. Press that once. You may have turned off the OnScreen Display feature. If that fails to resolve the problem, please let me know and I'll look up your specific model.

I have the same problem (cycling between 2 brightness levels). I contacted the shop and the salesman (who is an expert in home cinema installations etc) told me that it has to be the last hours of my lamp's life... I don't know yet, I'll find out soon though...

What causes picture to freeze?

the t-con board memory, it can also be the main av board as some have a pause screen feature that can sometimes be accessed from the remote, but some remotes dont have the button. but the memory failing is the cause. so its either the memory in the t-con board or the memory on the main av board. to find out what one it is you will need to remove the t-con board lead and plug back in a second later if the screen works its the t-con board if it stays frozen its the main avi board.

I cannot turn on 3d mode on my lg projector pa70g cause it doesnot see this mode. And when i click 3d button on the remote it doesn't change the picture. Help me please!

you need to be connected to a 3d source when you try and switch and it must be playing 3d media before the projector would even try and im sure you know you need to be connected via hdmi for this to work, so grab a 3d dvd player and a 3d capable hdmi cable and a 3d dvd and then try it--Good Luck.

I my projector is new one used for 4 hrs, when i try to turn it on it just has a blinking green light. Please help Solve It! .

The blinking green light means the unit is either Powering On (Warming Up) or Powering Off (Cooling Down).

Powering On the Projector
1. Remove the lens cap.
2. Securely connect the power cord and signal cable. When connected, the ON/STANDBY LED will turn Amber.
3. Turn on the lamp by pressing " " button either on the top of the projector or on the remote. The ON/STANDBY LED will now turn Green. The startup screen will display in approximately 10 seconds. The first time you use the projector, you can select your preferred language from quick menu after the startup screen displays.
4. Turn on and connect the source that you want to display on the screen (computer, notebook, video player, etc). The projector will detect the source automatically. If not, push menu button and go to "SETUP". Make sure that the "Source Lock" has been set to "Off". If you connect multiple sources at the same time, press the "SOURCE" button on the control panel or direct source keys on the remote control to switch between inputs.

If you are still unable to get the unit to turn on, try unplugging it for 10 minutes and plugging it back in. If it still ceases to work, contact Optoma here: http://www.optomausa.com/rma_policy.asp

You may have trouble buying new. Kodak stopped manufacturing slide projectors in 2004. There are qualified repair dealers that you can send your projector to & get it fixed. What you describe is a pretty common problem with the Carousel Custom line as they age...

Remote won't turn on Eiki EIP-2500 projector

Try cleaning the IR port on the projector (and the remote itself). These can get enough of a dust layer build up that they can't "see" the infrared signal being sent.

Remote control and lines in picture

Hi there

If I were you I would take the Projector back to where you purchased it from - because the remote makes out a vital part of this unit and secondly - lines on the image is normally a faulty Mainboard that is very expensive to have replaced.
