Remove the back panel of the unit. If the fuse replacement blows again as soon as you turn the unit back on, you might have to troubleshoot the power supply. Good luck Mike!

No power to the microwave, after storm.

The low voltage brownout let the oven draw too much current, and likely an internal fuse failed. Typically after removing a dozen Philips screws you can take off the cover and locate the fuse, which you can match and replace. [If it still has "power" (like the lights come on) but has stopped heating, then it could be any number of other issues (main capacitor fail, etc)] I've changed a fuse or two in my day, and years ago a failed capacitor, with success.

Wall ac in off position plug in surge protector blows instantly

It may be possible the it has fried the surge protected internally causing it to short out or blow when plugging in. I would try using another surge protected if you have one or if possible replace the cord going to the unit with a new one and see what happens. Also possible that the outlet your using went bad during the storm as well. Don't know 100% but should be a couple tips to help get you going.

No POWER UP NO DISPLAY AFTER A STORM

you must have had a power spike during the storm, I tried to locate this model specs but couldn't,, if you can get into the back where the plug wire leads into the unit,, if there is no visible fuse, you want to look at the circuit board where the plug wire attaches to it, near that point there will be a diode thats blown, it will be easy to locate it should have pretty much exploded. if your knowledgeable with soldering you can purchase another directional diode and replace the burned one, if not, have a shop do it,,

1 posible cause.the thermostat supplies 24 volts to the outside unit to control the contactor if you hear a ligth huming on the outside unit this is the being activated. if this is the case then
check to see if any ants are in or around the unit see video, they will usually climb to dry areas before during or after a storm and for some reason they like the contactor if this is the case cut all power to the unit and clean contactor spray the area around the unit with an insecticide ( not the contactor) replace cover and test unit. Not sure how much this will help you now, but unplugging your device is the only way to really protect it during a storm. Even turned off, your equipment is still subject to receive any electrical spikes that come through the lines

Storm caused my Samsung LNs3251d to stop working.

I believe there is a fuse inside where the cord attaches to the TV. Unplug the unit and be very carefull due to there are capasitors present that can still hold voltage that you don't want to mess with. Hope this helps.
