Question about LG Microwave Ovens
Our LG microwave door panel seems to be falling apart. The glass piece is about 1/2" away from the frame about 3/4 of the way around the cut out of the door and the plastic backing on the inside of the door gives quite a bit. It seems like the two pieces need to be taken apart and the glass needs to be pushed back up against the front cut-out or frame of the front of the doot.
DO NOT use this microwave in the current condition it is in- please! Although microwaves do not emit ionizing radiation, it does emit non-ionizing radiation and electromagnetic fields- and there is a lot of research studies being done possibly linking microwave exposure to cancer.
If your microwave is in that bad a shape, bring it to an authorized microwave repair shop or junk it and buy a new one.
