Question about HP Photosmart C5180 All-In-One InkJet Printer
I tried many things to solve my same issue. Found a little more details on Solution #1 and it worked. More info also at http://www.fixyourownprinter.com/forums/printer/54155#15
1. be sure to press "OK" and "HELP" buttons down while you unplug the printer.
2. KEEP the buttons pressed (just to be safe) while you plug the printer back in. You may also need to press the POWER key to turn the printer on. The printer will then power on and do some mystery stuff ... and then it will automatically power down. DON'T release the buttons until the printer's powered down.
3. Release the buttons and power it up
Note: I got a message then about "illegal shut down" but after I pressed "OK" all was fine and I can print again =) I have the C5180.
