-se- is displayed on the screen, what does it mean?

Usually means "Sensor error". The problem is usually associated with the circuit board for your touch pad on the front of microwave. More than likely a bad contact/connection on one of the plugs in the back of that panel.
Just type the following in your search engine and the video explains it all. "samsung microwave se (5e) error fix". Hope this is your fix and that you are OK with taking it apart. MAKE SURE ALL POWER IS REMOVED BEFORE GETTING IN THERE!! good luck!

Microwave display shows SE

SE = Sensor Error, its reported that it could be components bent over, and touching each other on the PCB behind the keypad.
You need to be a fair bit mechanically savvy to attempt a repair, and remember to Unplug it before you do! :-)

SAMSUNG MICROWAVE SHOWS SE AND WILL NOT WORK.WHY?

SE is an error code for a shorted keypad, although the keypad might not really be shorted.

Unplug the oven for a few minutes to see if it clears the error code. If not, then leave it unplugged over night. If the problem persists, then you probably do have a shorted membrane switch on the keypad.

Kenmore microwave displaying SE error message. How do I fix it?

That error indicates a bad keypad. You will have to replace the keypad/control console assembly.

"SE" means = sensor error, try to dry it out with a hair dryer, if not working, you have to replace the sensor

WHAT DOES SE MEAN ON THE DISPLAY

SE means system error, the problem is in the keypad membrane, "there is a short" It is best to change the keypad control board to fix the problem. But you might want to consider the price first.

Microwave displaying SE in the display panel, it is only 5 months old.

An SE error on a Samsung microwave means you have a shorted membrane keypad.
If and when an oven is coming on or doing anything by itself, this is very dangerous and can result in a fire.So until it is repaired, please leave it unplugged or leave the door open when it's not in use, and please do not leave it running unattended.

Samsung Microwave Oven shows -SE- on the display. Why?

-SE- error means you have a shorting membrane keypad.

Since it's less than one year old, it would be fully covered under warranty. I'd suggest contacting the manufacturer to get it fixed free.
