Question about Kitchen Ranges
This was most likely the oven liner "oil canning" due to thermal expansion. If the liner remained in this position, you will probably not experience the noise again. If it returned to it's original position when it cooled down, you may experience the noise again. Although alarming, it is by no means dangerous.
