Question about Lexmark JetPrinter X1185 All-In-One InkJet
Vista tries to install printer but says one of the installers is not working at the moment.I`ve run the drivers from lexmark site but to no avail.Running the installation disc does`nt work.That says the spooler is stopped.
Okay this is a easy problem, the printer spooler service is turned off, just turn it on, and try to install it again, should work if not let me know.
press start and then run
hold down windows key and press r
in run menu type in: services.msc
and press ok or enter
in services, you need to find printer spooler or spooler, right click on it and select properties.
make sure start up type is automatic, then press on start. Apply ok, close window , make sure the service status is running, press F5 to refresh the page.
try installing it now.
