Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

You mean the windows log on pass? Which version of windows do you have? Try logging in at the administrator account (the default pass is blank).

Computer will not accept password can not log on

Have you tried in safe mode? If so, then you will need a password reset tool to reset the SAM file in the registry.
There is one located here: http://www.petri.co.il/forgot_administrator_password.htm
But you will need to learn how to use it as these are tricky and can cause MAJOR damage to your OS.

Admin password doesnt work for my Dell Latitude 120l

Make sure you are saving your changes after altering the password in the BIOS. If altering the password in the BIOS doesn't fix it, then the BIOS is at fault, and your best bet is probably to send it to Dell.

Prompted for a password when I start the OptiPlex GX 100. However the password I created is not accepted. Any ideas?

This is very common issue. Usually what happened is you created the password with cap locks on or you trying to log in with caplocks. Try loggin in with caps on and once with caps off see if that helps
