Try checking if all the speaker cables are connected in polarity ( all + to + and all - to -
make sure that the speakers u have connected are not below the amplifier manufacturer specs and that that they all have the same OHM load (check back of speakers to see the (OHMs)
lastly, check each speaker individually to determine that they are all working and working with no distortion. ( a malfunctioning speaker could cause the amp to go into protection.
if there are any more details that you did not state please do so.
wish this helps

Got a sony to and surround sound system works fine but when I want to screen mirror my phone to tv I have to turn surround sound system of to get volume? Please help

Assuming that the TV is the device that is recognizing the phone you may have to route your spdif (optical out) via optical cable to the back of your surround amplifier as a separate input to the surround system. You'll be able to select this audio through the surround receivers remote. Just note what the Optical input was named on the back of the surround receiver. The reason you have to do this is that the 'Smart' Tv is what is recognizing the phone's bluetooth or DLNA address so the video and audio are going to the tv. The only way the surround can play the audio is via the TV's optical output. Optical cables are really cheap on Amazon.com. This one is $6 and will work flawlessly if the surround receiver is less than 6 feet away. http://www.amazon.com/AmazonBasics-Digital-Optical-Audio-Toslink/dp/B001TH7GSW/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1425292532&sr=8-1&keywords=Spdif+cable

Is yamaha ampli rip off ?

I have not personnally had any problems with any yamaha recievers, or surround processors that I have ever purchased, and they continue to operate these decades later. The fact that they have pre-amp outputs for all channels was a major determining factor, as I could then use other amps with more power for expansion. make sure you have a surge protector for your ac power supply, that has been the biggest source of problems with any piece of a/v equipment

Sony TA-AV521 I have had this stereo system with surround sound for years. Recently I am finding that the surround sound mode is not working right. There is a lot of fading in and out whether it is on...

CD's and FM radio are created in 2 stereo channels. To listen to them in Surround, artificial processing has to take place in your receiver, so artifacts and fading are quite common when you do this. When you turn the surround off, your stereo is processing the information properly and it will sound right.

Only the back ground sound is heard, can't here what the main actors are saying, Samsung BD-P1500, HT-AS720S, and Series 7 750 TV, trying to play a DVD, Dolby Surround 5.1

If your sound is set to Surround Sound or Dolby Surround Sound and you haven't got the rest of the system set up to balance, that is why you can only hear some of the audio. Turn off the surround sound to see what I mean.

Sony xplog xmgtr2022 1200W car ampli turning off after 5 mins

Sony is not a bad brand if you use it correctly... This is what is happening my friend. You are what is called "clipping" your amplifier. What you need to do is make sure you are running your subs at the correct impedance or also known as resistance. Then make sure you are running them at the correct frequency, there is a turn tab on the amp to match the sub to the amp. Then never never turn the gain all the way up. This over works the amp and will wear it out much faster. This also does not actually give more power to the subs it just gains the power sooner then later. Never turn the gain more then half way up.. Hope this can step you in the correct direction my friend.

By the way plaztiksr4me kenwood is junk too :O

Sony strd720 problem

Try turning off any surround mode so all you have working is the 2 front speakers. If the soundgoes away, the problem is in the digital surround processing and you are hearing the results of digital noise. Since this unit is new, return it for an exchange indicating the problem. It should not be making this sound at all.
