If you are getting a status message as the printer is offline on your pc,and afterward you can't ready to print the reports. Steps to Resolve the Printer Offline Issue: Step 1:
At first, you need to check your network through the HP Scan Doctor which encourages you to discover and fix the printing issues. Steps To Run the HP Scan Doctor

I assume you fellow the steps in the manual and install everything correctly. We had the same problem on our hp printer. Sometimes, if you install Windows/software updates, it will put your printer offline. The problem will disappear once I restart my computer.
The issue may be resolved by clearing the pause printing in the printer driver or by setting up a parallel connection with the computer.
Clear pause printing
From the Windows Desktop, select Start , Settings , and Printers .
Right-click the HP LaserJet printer icon that is being used.
Select the Work Offline or Pause Printing option (if enabled) to remove the check.
Print the document again.
Establish parallel connection
Turn off the printer or remove the printer from the network.
Connect the printer to the PC using a parallel cable.
Power on the printer.
Print the document again.
If the User Intervention Required message reappears, disable or remove any HP LaserJet software utilities loaded on the system (for example, Status Window, HP Toolbox, etc.). Prove printer functionality and troubleshoot communications; try printing again.
Uninstall and reinstall the driver
After performing a cold reset on a product installed with USB, a higher DOT4_00x port is created, causing the printer to hang while printing.
This is required with products installed on a USB port only.
Uninstall the USB printer driver.
Remove the HP folder and AIO folder from the hard drive.
Reinstall the USB printer driver.
This error can occur if when using a network or printing from a laptop. When the print job goes into a pending status, the printer is either in Work Offline or Pause Printing mode.

Try connecting your printer directly to the wifi router/switch in a shared network configuration. Then go to your router settings, find the local ip address add this as the 'host'. Your settings should be as follows:
Driver : HP Mobile Printing Bearer: Socket/HP Jetdirect Access
Piont: My Home Wifi (kaba) Host : ip address of you
printer user : Blank ( tried my windows username,no
use) port : 9100 Printer Model: Officejet Printers
You will have to reconfigure your drivers on your pc as well. Mine installed as a wireless shared printer even though the printer is not wireless but I have it connected to my wifi switch for sharing and it worked fine.
So, if you want to print, the printer must be online. Offline method doesn't work to print. When the computer sayst that the printer is offline, it means ypur printer is turned off or you don't connected the printer to PC.
As in conclusion, if you want to print set the printer online.
