How do i eliminate amp protection. Unit goes no further. Tried to unplug the unit & plugged back in but problem persists. Please HELP!!!!!

This is a very ambiguous post. When you say that you are having this problem, what are you doing? Please post all the steps that lead to this error. There is no way to disable the amplifier protection circuit. If it senses a short (which could be a bad speaker) then it will be activated.

My NAD T748 shows the message "AMP protection powering off" on startup. The device has not overheated, since it doesn't feel warm. So now, I can no longer turn it on. I've also tried disconnecting power...

Check your speakers and cabling. Perhaps one of the cables has a shortage (mice like to eat cables or cats). Or a speaker is blown.
Eventualy disconnect both speakers before you switch on. If it does not go in protection, connect one speaker and switch on again. Look what speaker, when connected will drive the amplifier in protection.

Will the NAD T748 drive the bose 901 speakers?

Yes, the Bose user manual

says that any amp with 10-450 WRMS is OK. The speakers impedance is given as 8 ohms, so the amp is compatible.

Note that Bose say you have to have the Bose equalizer connected as well.

I've bought my NAD C326BEE amplifier almost two years ago, and i got promised a hell of a good quality and that it would last for YEARS. But ever since i bought the damn amplifier, it has been shutting off...

Hi there,
I'm also a Nad fan. I find this pretty odd that you should loose two in such a short space of time. The cutting out is due to the "protection circuit". I would be inclined to get your speakers checked out as if they are faulty or not "matched" to the amp, it will trigger the amp to "protect itself" and shut off.

Hello i own NAD 3150, its not working, all the indicator lights ( power, protection and soft clipping glows)

It's either failed power supply capacitors or one or more power transistors in the output amp have gone bad

Nad c372 prob

The unit is detecting a problem and shutting down in what is usually called "protect" mode. Look for bad connections on the board near the voltage regulators.

NAD C370 Right channel distortion

Sounds like you have lost the power amp transistor(s) or IC for this channel.
