Haier tv sound

My sound isn't working, but I can see the picture. And it isn't with one channel, it's with all of them and I check to see if the audio is on SAP and it wasn't.

Check whether the sound is muted or not. Refer its user manual for this detail. If it is no muted, check the speaker/s first. If found OK, check and replace damaged component/s at its audio output section circuit. If you wish to get some details, check the site linked here. Pull up older posts. There is no factory option to stop the box from poping up every time the signal changes, which is what is happening. It has something to do with signal strength or the fact that your cable box is not set up for HD. Call your cable company to get a tech out to check your signal and set up your cable box because they do not come pre-set with HD defaults.

if you are using a digital TV is is possible that the frequency is slightly out or you have poor reception.
do a new channel serch first (automatic if you can
and see what happens
sap may reset also if you do this function.

There is no dedicated audio board in the TV, the audio processing is one of the functions of the main board, also known as the AV board or motherboard.

I'm not sure whether your comment means you have a cable box or a direct cable feed and this is not the most technical answer, but I see this problem regularly with cable boxes and it's rarely a fault with the TV. Often the firmware/software in the cable box "crashes" and needs to be "re-booted". This is similar to what happens with a PC from time to time which is unsurprising as, essentially, these devices are computers.

I'd like to suggest that you reset your cable box before looking for replacement parts / numbers. Some cable boxes have a reset button on the front. Others simply need to be switched off and unplugged from the electrical outlet for a couple of minutes. If you're doing this, you may as well unplug the TV as well and "re-boot" it.

If this doesn't work, you should also try restoring the factory default settings on your TV:

1. Switch the TV on
2. Press the "MENU" button on the Haier remote to open the on-screen menu
3. Use the CH+/- buttons to highlight "FUNCTION"
4. Press the VOL+ button to open the FUNCTION MENU
5. Use the CH+/- buttons to highlight "Restore Default Value"
6. Press the VOL+ button to activate the restore feature

Please note: After restoring the TV to factory defaults, you will need to complete the initial setup again the same as you did when the TV was new.

If you have done all of the above and there is still no audio from the TV speakers, then there is a fault with the TV and you should post back to discuss options for repair.

Before posting back, please also try plugging headphones into the headphone socket on the back of the TV and check whether you have audio in the headphones. The headphone socket is next to the antenna connection socket.

My 42 in haier tv sound is not working, it was working friday before i went out of town come back and it's not making a sound, picture still looks good.

If your audio circuits have gone South then you have an issue with your main board of the set or the amps that power the speakers. See if you have audio voltage at audio output on set. If so issue is with amps and you can always connect your audio receiver to that output and get sound like that. I blew an amp and that is what I have been doing without any sweat.

No picture but the red power button blinks each time it blinks there is a thumping noise from speakers and a clicking sound

try checking the fuse area, together with the capacitor & resistor may one of them is faulty. and also check for any bad soldered.

Haier Tv no sound

Check the setup menu to see if the audio isn't sent to the external audio jacks or the fiber port. Could be something as simple as having the volume muted too.

Emerson tv 32 in --the channel 7.1 ABC only has picture without sound.

Check the Chanel 7 broadcast signal on the other tv have sound,could caused by the tv broadcasting signal from the tv station itself.Check if ur tv have a function known as S.A.P. make sure it is off,could effected no tv audio problems,because the tv station in ur city or town don't broadcast in that signal frequencies.

Haier tn201auv have picture but no sound

Check the interconnection cables for firmness. Check the audio inter connection cable for internal conductor break. Check with a new cable.

Audio isn't working

ya know I hate to say it but I've done this before. check the mute button on your remote. I've accidently hit mine before and it took me several days to realize it. lol. if it's not that. check the volume of the set itself, then check the volume with the remote....I know these are weird things to check, but they do & have happened, to me. lol. good luck & God bless.

U get some picture on some channel but very weak signal and fade out and get Error codes on the tv screen?Yes,than buy a stronger Digital antena design to get better and stronger longer recieving signal ranges.

Sound no picture

If you have the 3 RCA jack cables connected to the input jacks on the TV press input on the remote until the picture appears.
