The only person who can view your phone's location is the carrier that you use. Even then, it's still a slim chance that they can, even if they comply. Report it as stolen to the police. Inform them that your phone has GPS capability and that you can provide details to the cellular company.

It's likely that you'll have to give up pursuit and just buy a new phone though :(.

My nokia e5 cellphone lost , what can i do to trace my mobile by using imei number ?

There is GOOD news and BAD News....1st the bad news, your phone is lost and you will never see it again. The good news is that you can contact your service provider and have the handset disable by giving them the IMEI number.

I have yet to hear about a cell phone company that would trace a lost/stolen cell phone. Hopefully there was an insurance policy which covered lost/stolen phones; if not a replacement is out of pocket.

Lock and Track your Stolen Mobile Hand Set Through IMEI Number

Do you know your mobile’s IMEI number? Just press * # 0 6 # in your mobile hand set, IMEI number will be displayed in your mobile hand set.
Keep the IMEI number safely at other place. This IMEI number is unique number for each mobile hand set. In case your mobile hand set will get stolen, you can track or unlock your mobile hand set through IMEI number.
First track your mobile through IMIE number here www.trackimei.com and report theft or loss.
If your mobile hand set got stolen, you need to do following things.
1. Submit FIR for your mobile loss, give details of hand set model, color, IMEI number etc.
2. Ask your service provider to track the mobile phone, your mobile phone will be tracked only if the thief are using your mobile hand set with any sim card. If the thief is keeping your mobile switched off, your service provider can not track the mobile hand set location. You should not expect muck cooperation from service provider or police to locate your phone.
3. If you are unable to find your mobile number, insure that at least your mobile handset is locked. The thief can not use (misuse) your mobile with any sim card. You should ask mobile service provider to lock your mobile through IMEI number.

My mobile is stolen.last night .can i find my mobile location by imei no .imei no is 356283015477161

Hi, there is no way to find your phone. Your service provider (mobile operator) could help identifing the user if the phone is in use with the same operator.

One more thing that you can do is to submit your stolen phone in http://www.stolen-phone.com and hope that somebody will see it and return you your device.

I purchase second hand n73 but in this mobile has fake imei so i want to install geniune & ORIGINAL IMEI can i do this if yes then how?

You cannot changed the IMEI number manually. You have to use a specific software and hardware to modify the number. The best option available is to get it done from a mobile repairing center or Service center, but you have to know the original number which is written on the battery compartment of the handset (labelled with the model number and RM type of your handset).
If you want to do it yourself, you have to know how to use the software like, Jaf box, UFS box etc.. and will also cost you more than the price of your handset (new n73 handset). So, I recommend you to visit a service center, tell them your problem and they'll do it for you, but they can change it into whatever they want, in order to get an original imei number, let them change it into the one which is printed on your mobile.

I also wonder how did you find out that it's not genuine.

If you need further help, let me know.

Good luck.

Lost nokia5233. how can i track the new sim inserted in my handset? i have done FIR in police. but i want to know how would i come to know that whether the thief has inserted new simcard in my handset or...

You will need to contact the carrier and report the phone as lost so that the phone can be flagged. Since you mention thief and police, then you should contact the carrier and report the phone as stolen, they may require a police report filing # as well. The carrier likely won't let you know directly, but likely report the phone status to the police department where report was made.

I lost my nokia mobile phone. I have that phone imei number. Please Can you give Assist to block that imei number.

IMEI(International Mobile Equipment Identification). Now if you have lost your mobile handset or your phone has been stolen, you can contact your network provider to block your IMEI number. They might ask you to get a Police FIR copy first, do as they say and finally ask them to block your IMEI number. Mobile network.
providers use a shared hosting service for blocking IMEI numbers, which means if you have asked network ‘Airtel’ to block your mobile handset, it automatically gets blocked by network ‘VodaFone’, ‘Reliance’, ‘Idea Cellular’ and so on.
Now when that thief will switch on your mobile handset, no service providers will allow it to build any connection with them. It does not matter if he changes the mobile SIM card, since SIM card requests for the service with IMEI number and a blocked IMEI number handset will be ignored and the mobile will become an useless toy.

If you know someone from any mobile network, you can also ask him to find out the mobile number that’s being used that IMEI number. In that way you will get the mobile number that thief is using on your handset icon_wink.gif Take help of mobile number tracker to track any mobile in India.
You can find more information about your mobile handset by entering your mobile IMEI no. Go to IMEI Number Analysis and know more about your handset model, manufacturing date and some internal informations for free.

I lost my mobile , how i will get back it with using imei no ?

You will not get your Mobile handset back unless a honest person returns it to your local police in which case you could claim it back by proving to them that you 'own' this handset with particular imei number.
Your lost/stolen handset can however be made useless to a third party by having this specific and unique imei number reported as being lost/stolen and thus effectively disabling it from all mobile networks.
Hope it helps you understand the situation better.

Theft of my cell phone

You need to contact your service provider and ask them to block your phone. You will need the (IMEI) number (International Mobile Equipment Identity) this number is on the box that your phone came in, and on the phone itself under the battery, it is also obtained by typing *#06# on the phone. without this number nothing can be done, not for the phone anyway, you can put a stop to the SIM card being used by calling your service provider. They can also issue you with a new SIM card with the same phone number.
