Touch pad on microwave doesn't work

My touch does not work in certain areas. I had this problem once before and after several days it fixed itself. I can't afford to pay to have it fixed.

HI, since this happen before and it suddenly fixed itself, i don't think its major. i recommend checking the ribbons for a tight fit. theses connection ribbons may be lose or partiality separated form the control board, in return, causing this fault. you can accesses the ribbons by removing the backcover of this unit. if the ribbons are in good condition, i recommend replacing the touch pad membrane.

How do I get the microwave to stop beeping. It"s beeping and locking the controls by itself.

The touch pad sounds like it is trying to tell you it has a stuck pad. The touch pad will need replacing.

Touch pad inoperaive

Unfortunately, if you are having problems with a touch pad you will probably have to replace either the touch pad itself, if you can get it or the whole control board and touch pad as a unit which normally ends up running as much as a new microwave. I would check your warranty and see if it still is covered and proceed that direction.

My Panasonic Over the range microwave Model NN-H264SF front touch pad don't get any beep plus i cannot put any number so microwave don't work. If range get over heat microwave exhaust fan get activated...

it needs to be repaired others have had the same problem.
here's one review...
liked this product very much, until it died after a little under 1.5 years. I brought it to a repair center recommended by Panasonic. They quoted me a parts-and-labor price of around $125 to fix the thing. The repair included a new membrane pad (the buttons on the front), new fuse, and new fuse holder.

The repair center told me they've been instructed by Panasonic to replace all old fuse holders with newer, better ones. Apparently, the original fuse holder was somewhat defective, causing the fuse to burn out. I don't know if this bears any relation as to why a relatively new membrane pad might have gone bad, but it's certainly annoying for a device costing several hundred dollars.

Buttons on microwave

testing every step and fix it. God bless you see the diagram attached

Microwave Buttons Don't Work
Touchpad and Control Panel

If the microwave buttons don't work the touchpad and control panel assembly are probably defective.
Touchpad

If the microwave buttons don't work the touchpad might be at fault. Generally speaking, if the dishwasher display is working and some of the buttons respond correctly but some don't, the problem is with the touchpad.
User Control and Display Board

If the microwave buttons don't work the user control and display board are most likely defective and will need to be replaced. If some of the buttons work and some don't, it is more likely a touch pad problem and the touch pad will need to be replaced.
Main Control Board

If the microwave buttons don't work the main control board is most likely defective and will need to be replaced. If some of the buttons work the touch pad is likely the problem. If none of the buttons work the problem may be in the main control board.1_24_2013_5_23_47_pm.gif1_24_2013_5_24_54_pm.jpg

On the touch pad numbers 3, 6, 7 and 0 dont work

sounds like the touch pad control has failed ... there is a touch pad on this unit and also a control board located behind units touch pad... you can gain access to this by unplugging unit and removing console that houses touch pad /clock assembly ... once removed the only test there really is to do would be with power off remove ribbon cable to touch pad and make sure clear of any dust /debri and reconnect there are 2 small holes in ribbon cable that are used when reconnected fir into small slots and firmly connect... if that doesnt fix i would recommend a new touch pad... not sure what area your located... there is a distributor for sharp in dallas ,texas called
global micro parts... reputable company that if you give them your model number they can assist you with the part.... good luck to you

Touchpad is not working

Hello :

If touch pad has gotten wet, then allow to dry for several days. Avoid spraying cleaning liquid near touch pad.
Check for insect infestation. Insects (cockroaches most frequently) will appear under clear surface of touch pad or under readout window; they like the warmth of the circuit boards.
Place window mesh over vent to keep insects out.

good luck .

My microwave Oven, send a F1 messagge and doesn´t work. What can I do?

F 11 code. it is a touch pad error.
If you just cleaned the control panel it may have water in the panel causing a key to stick.
If after a day or 2 it hasn't dried out - then you will need to replace the touch pad.

Visit www.searspartsdirect.com and enter in your full model number for a parts breakdown and schematics.
