You'd have to have blue tooth connectivity on the tv and the pc for that to happen. There are wireless video link systems available but are costly.

Can not enable wireless on toughbook cf-52 "radio is off"

Most Panasonic Toughbooks have a Physical On-Off
Wireless Switch Built-In. I belive the one on the CF-52
is located on the front right-hand side hidden behind
the handle. It is a small switch and you must slide it
to the right side (On) as opposed to the left side (Off).
Most modern Toughbooks also have a Wireless Switch
Utility which may be required. If so, you can find the driver at:
http://pc-dl.panasonic.co.jp/dl/search?q=&button=&dc%5B%5D=002001&p1=&p2=&oc=&lang=

That is it. Good Luck.

I have a desktop HP connected to internet Broadband service via a "2wire" router thru my Windstream phone account. I have a Dell laptop that I'm able to use with the wireless connection...

you wont see the pc screen on the tv if that is what your expecting, if the tv is capable of receiving netflix then it will pick that up seperately from the pc, it will only need a wireless connection to access the broadband, you will also need a valid subscription to the netflix service. The fact you have proved you have a valid wireless connection means its connected. There will be an options button to select the internet content to view on viera cast

quote from panasonic ---

VIERA Cast's assorted online content just keeps getting better - in addition to the popular contents such as YouTube and Picasa Web Albums, it now offers Pandora Internet Radio, movies streamed from Netflix*, exciting sports from FOX Sports, tweeting web communications with Twitter, and even home video and audio conferencing with Skype. It also provides USB terminals for a keyboard and Wireless LAN Adaptor. No PC required. Skype function requires an optional communication camera TY-CC10.
Skype service will be available late June 2010.
*Netflix unlimited membership required. Service on Viera Cast TV will be available summer 2010.
*Keyboard and Wireless LAN Adaptor are not included.

How to unlock gobi modem in panasonic f8

Hello !!

Good to hear, about you are using the Next Generation technology.

Gobi is the first multi-mode (CDMA/EV-DO and UMTS/HSPA) embedded wireless solution for mobile computers, giving users the ability to easily connect to major wireless carriers. Through the Panasonic® Carrier Selection Application (CSA) software platform, the need to physically switch out various single-module, carrier-specific modems to choose a different carrier has been eliminated. Gobi-enabled Toughbook® mobile computers can access AT&T, Sprint and Verizon Wireless wireless networks with one wireless device. Using the CSA, users are able to select the best carrier for any geographic area or switch carriers.

How to use of the Gobi:

By using Panasonic's Carrier Selection Application (CSA) users can select a wireless carrier. The CSA stores all major carrier connection managers on the hard drive of a Toughbook computer, therefore allowing users to access and select the required connection manager for each carrier at any time.

CSA software can be downloaded from the Toughbook Support site at panasonic.com/toughbook/support. After logging in, select "Downloads". The Panasonic CSA software can be found in the "Mobile Broadband (WWAN) Connection Software" section.

Here's a a link for Gobi FAQ's that would help you answering all the doubts that you have about 'Gobi'

Check the link given above & it'll be helpful.

Wireless connectivity

possible reasons that it is "off"

Physical switch on outside of case that has a turn on and turn off function. Make sure this is turned on.

Go to network places and find the connection that says wireless (or something similiar), it should say Enabled, if not then enable it.

Panasonic cf-50 problems to connect wireless wpa personal

If the wireless card is an old model it possibly won't support WAP encryption. The wireless router most likely supports both WEP and WAP encryption.
WEP is not as secure as WAP so use the highest bit encryption that is available to you.

What or where are the wireless hardware keys on a panasonic CF-51

Hi Rindar,
Well this is a picture of what a Wireless Button should resemble:
50a8aee.jpg

If it's red it is off, if it's blue it's on..
But I can see from the picture below that the Toughbook cf-51 doesn't appear to have one in the 'normal' place:

37aca02.jpg

So, maybe you can go to Control Panel and click the Intel Pro Wireless icon and run a diagnostic to tell you some more information. Since you mentioned that you have checked the device manager, I guess you'll have done this too.
So, all I can recommend is to double click on the networks connection on the bottom right hand corner of your screen and open Network and Sharing Manager, and make sure Network Discovery is enabled, then Manage Wireless Networks, and right click on your connection and click Properties, and check the 'Automatically Connect When in Range' box.
If it doesn't connect now, click on the network and press Connect now.

Hope this helps!
