Question about Ovens
The timer facility on my Neff B1432 oven has gone and the system continues making a screeching sound all the time and we have to fiddle around with the controls for a long time and it is very "hit and miss". I think the solution would be to disable the timer but cannot see how I can do this . Any ideas ? If the timer was disabled , would the oven continue to be operated manually or is my only solution to buy a new oven ? - M MacDonald

a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

If the fan is working o/k then you need a new element fitting.
Remove the panel at the rear of the oven, there you will see the element, remove the fixing screws and ease the element forward, taking care not to lose the wires, disconnect the leads and fit new element.
The light flickering is probably the bulb not screwed in propely or a bad contact, nothing to worry about.
Plz rate my solution.

Make sure the oven is set for 'manual' start cooking as opposed to 'automatic'. Usually you have to press a button on the timer.

SOURCE: have a Neff b1432 oven
Neff B1432 circotherm oven.
The grill element has just been replaced but it only heats up to 150 degrees or medium heat.
The fan oven works perfectly well and heats up to 220 degrees.
Any suggestions ??
