Smart Drive machine on starting, water runs straight through into drain, thus not filling up

Most likely the water coming into the washer through the Water Inlet Valve could be siphoned out to the drain pump and out the drain hose because of an issue with the pump or plumbing. Is your washer overfilling? Is the washer detecting an overheat error? Observe carefully as to what part of the washing cycle the water is draining out. By watching the washer as it goes through its wash cycle, you can find out which part or error is causing the Washing Machine To Not Fill With Water and Keep Draining issue.

Make sure drain hose is up high enough and not straight down to drain it has to be run up higher then the water level in tub to keep the water in the tub till the pump pumps it up and out.

1 Answer I have just moved, my LG Turbo drum was working fine but i have set it up and now it wont hold the water, straight in straight out, can you help?????

The drain hose can not be sealed to the drain pipe, and it can not be shoved so far down the drain pipe that the end of the hose reaches the water level in the drain trap.

Washing machine wont hold water on any setting

raise the main drain hose to the top of the back control head. there may be a problem with the main hose being to low and the water is gravity siphoning out of the washer.make sure the washer is off when you lift the hose up but do not remove it from the wall, you should here water drain out once it has stopped draining restart you machine and it should fill to the proper level and quit then go into your wash cycle

My washer wont hold water

Make sure your drain hose is not sitting on the floor.

You need to make sure the drain hose goes up to the hight of the tank and then back down to the drain.

If the hose is sitting low, then gravity will just drain the water out.

Let me know if this is not the case and I will dry and diagnose if there is a nother problem.

Washer won't drain.

My washer fills up with water and goes thru the wash cycle but when it's time to drain, it just sits there and clicks.

My washing machine will not hold water

Make sure your drain is at the proper height. Here is a photo for reference. The water draining straight thru can be caused by this. If this is not the problem, please let me know. Hope this helped and best wishes.

When starting to wash water goes straight out of

The drain you are putting the drain hose into needs to be at least 30 inches above the floor. You probably have the drain hose to low or laying on the floor for this to be happening.
