All you have to do is, (Now, I know this may sound crazy but it will help) Take apart your camera. Disconnect the black cord wrapped around the blue cord. Pull out the yellow cord out and throw it away. That yellow cord is a virus which is causing your screen to go purple. Now reconnect the black cord and unwrap it from around the blue cord. This will cause your screen to not only turn back to normal but to hold 2x the space of pictures you would usually hold. If this doesn't work, then stop being lazy and buy yourself a new camera. Yes, I'm talking to you granny!!

Good day my fellow American citizens. I really do hope this works. Thank you for your time. ;)

It is most likely a hardware problem, and you should bring your phone to a repair shop to get it checked.

Check the white balance settings. If the photos where taken in the high midday sun this is the high UV content in the air. Set you white balance to Cloudy and see what that does. Also fit a UV lens to the front of the lens if haven't already.

Reddish tinged photos

It might be a possible CCD defect , as usually the symptoms are odd colours in a photo hence your red tinge in your photos. Its quite expensive as it labour intensive to fix .Rather just buy another camera or you can try to solder another ccd from anotehr camera > look on ebay for parts (not recommended precise alignment needed).

Check the color/light settings on your camera, and reset it to auto to get it back to normal. Changing this setting to tungsten or fluorescent forces your color to shift, but is clearly not what you want at this point.
