Try to get something that is acceptable to you and fits by researching "oven Knobs" at repair clinic dot com and selecting by looks and size.

The timer must be in manual mode for the oven to work. Turn the oven ON. With the oven turned on make adjustments to the two knobs. These are generally stop/start timers. These turn and you can also normally press them in. Be patient. When the oven indicator light comes on it will be fixed.

hi. I have the same oven at this house that I moved into recently. All the markings are faded around the knobs. Could someone please put up a picture of the knobs so I can try using my oven..thanks

I fussed with all the knobs and figured it out!( wording on the knobs are gone) but we have it now! I was afraid of ruining something but ended up going for it! Thanks for following up. Lyn

You have probably inadvertantly put the oven into Automatic cook mode, where the oven will not come on until a preset time.

Try pressing/turning the clock/timer buttons and resetting the clock and this should put the oven back into Manual cook mode and you should be ok.

I have a indesit oven and not sure what model it is because i have no manual, its silver, has 3 control knobs and six small under the small digital screen, it has 1 door at the top which is blacked out cannot see through and the bottom door is clear glass, any ideas?

i would pop the top up and see if there is a bad switch on the handle that locks the oven.
