I am having a problem with a porter Cable bn125a brad
nailer. I was shooting 5/8” brads and experienced a “jam” where several of the
brads got stuck under the driver guide. It took a while to get them out, but I
just used a small screwdriver and cleared the “brad jam”. Now, however, the
driver guide cover “a” does not want to close far enough for the “latch” to
hold the front of the gun shut. IAs far as I know I did not lose any parts when
clearing the jammed brads, and was very careful not to bend anything. This
should have been a simple situation where I clear brads and everything goes
back to working fine. But something changed and I cannot figure out what.
You may need to check if the driver blade is all the way up.first make sure you have the magizine open when you try to close the front latch.
