Re: t mobile dash sd card problem

I had the same problem after upgrading the Mobile 6. The solution was simple even though it was surprising! After much consultation with T-Moble tech support I was advised to take it back to T-Mobile dealer where I bought it. There, they fixed it by removing my old SIM card and installing a new one. There are minor differences, apparently, between some older and new SIM cards. It immediately started working perfectly -- and has ever since!

Can't download music to mini sd for ATT 8525

There are 2 ways to do this.

The first is to get a microSD card reader, take the card out of the phone, put it into the card reader and plug that into your computer.
Then this will show up as a flash drive, and you will be able to drag-and-drop, or copy and paste.

The second is, when you have your phone connected to your computer, and ActiveSync is active, you can explore your phone and microSD card.

At the top of the ActiveSync window is the "Explore" button.
Click on it, and a new window should open up.
Click on "My Windows Mobile-Based Device", then "Storage Card"
You can drag-and-drop or copy and paste.

If you can't see the "Storage Card" folder, your phone may not recognize the microSD card.
The original Windows Mobile 5 (WM5), only recognized standard microSD cards up to 2GB.
You would have to upgrade the software/firmware to WM6 to recognize microSDHC cards of 4GB, 8GB and above.

It looks like you have Vista, I have XP, your results may vary.

Wont read sd card 4 gb

You will have to upgrade your dash to windows 6 if you want it to read higher compacity micro sd cards. This method i free and is the only way their is no unlock code to make the the software compatible, you must upgrade it. once upgraded you can use up to a 8gb micro sd, i have not tried a higher card than that.

My T-Mobile Dash won't read a 4gb SD card

Most T-Mobile Dash phones will only recognize a 2gb sd card. I've only heard of some 4gb cards working, what type of card do you have? Unfortunately it's probably a compatibility issue and you'll need to get a 2gig scandisk, a 4gb scandisk might work, I'm not sure though.

What's max mem size for ipaq 1950

Mem cards are added as storage cards and do not add up to your iPaq RAM.

You can use mem cards to add up space to install applications. (ie. it is something similar to installing a new Harddrive on your PC). However the physical RAM of your iPaq cannot be extended.

PocketPC programs have small RAM requirements so your PDA's built-in RAM will suffice.

As far as the maximum card size if I understood your question right, if your iPaq comes with Windows Mobile v5 or earlier, it supports SD cards up to 2GB and perhaps some non SDHC standard SD cards up to 4GB. If you can upgrade to WM6, then WM6 supports SDHC cards, so you can install >4GB cards.

    Hope this helps.
