My picture and keep on breaking up on some channel

If you have a good picture on some channels and the picture breaks up on others , it could be the input signal. What is the source of the input signal; i.e. cable, satellite, antenna???? Do you have a cable box? The problem may be with the box or with the provider's signal.

Intermittent problem of sound breaking up and picture pixelating

usually a problem with your cable box. Try plugging a different tv into the cable box and see if it does the same thing. if so, call cable provider. If not, more than likely is a problem with your main board. but very unlikely.

if the picture keeps breaking up and pixelating it is normally a reception issue rather than a problem with the tv.

Picture sixe reduced and picture breaks up with converter box

You can change the way the channels can be displayed/viewed by a video setting, consult manual. When pic breaks into pixels and sound goes it's usually a reception problem so you'll have to adjust the antenna facing a direction that makes that channel come in clearly. It helps to experiment with positions and antennas.

My HDTV breaks into pixels. How can I prevent this?

From what I heard, comcast is sending is compressed video signal. I also witnessed this on a xbr5 at someones home. Its not your tv from what I've heard its your provider trying to keep up with demand. I hope that helped.
