The screen control circuit board in your tv is failing. Some of the boards are quite reasonable price wise and if you aren't afraid to open the back of your tv , it is an easy job to replace it . The board you're looking for is the one that has one or two wide flat ribbon cables coming out of the bottom of the screen.

Hello, I have a 2 years old Panasonic Viera plasma TV and there are many horizontal lines going from the top of the screen to the bottom... No matter which input is used...

You're discussing about the 'supply HUM' I assumes. Check all the external connection to TV inputs for firmness first. If all are found OK, check by replacing all the filter capacitors at its main power supply regulator board. In fact, replace the power supply board as card basis will be the best. Panasonic viera not fitting screen - 32"

The problem was with the cable/sky decoder. I changed the aspect ratio on the decoder not the tv.
The TV was not the problem.

The problem is that the decoder is sending a 4:3
picture to the tv this needs to be changed to 16:9 in the set up menu on
the decoder.
