Re: cant init direct3d

Looks like you do not have the latest version of directx..Also make sure you have the latest drivers for your graphics card..If it still doesn't work then create a desktop shortcut for the game right-click it->Select Properties->In target box->add -opengl suffix.
Ex:If it shows "C:\Program FIles\Wow.exe" then you should make it
"C:\Program Files\Wow.exe" -opengl
Dont forget to leave a space between " and -
Happy gaming!

My downloaded Game doesn't play. It shows the msg Can't init Direct3D

It is the direct X 3D files not compatable on your computer. The best solution is to get a new Nvidia graphics card as normally by updating the direct x wont help much and also may cause instability if it is not a compatable version with your computer.

Hi I have a Combat Wings game that loads fine, the intro video plays just fine, but then it drops out of the game and gives me an error message. "d3d_error_c"

Try updating your directX file.

I have tried to play games on my computer unfortunatly it wont let me keeps telling me there is an error direct3d can u help me i have tried to find an download what i can but i can not seem to be able...

Usually this is a DirectX problem. Download and install the latest version of DirectX.
If this doesn't help it means that your video card doesn't support the game you want to run.

I can't play video on my PC it gives d3derr_not available Error

It means that the host hardware does not support the functionality you are requesting from Direct3D. In other words, you Graphics Card doesn't support what ever your trying to do like playing video games!

Get a better Graphic card.

I got a remote controll helicopter and when I installed the software for the Flying Model Simulator, it brings up an error saying that D3DRM.DLL IS NOT LOADED.. What can I do to run this program so I can...

The D3DRM.DLL file is the Dynamic Link Library for Direct3D Retained Mode, an older DirectX display technology that was not included with Windows Vista. Direct3D is used to render three dimensional images in applications where performance is important; the most common examples of which are games, CAD drawing programs and graphics editing software.
The error message displayed varies by program, but some some of the more common ones are:
  • "Failed to initialize Direct3D with current settings"
  • "Cannot find the file d3drm.dll"
  • "This application has failed to start because d3drm.dll was not found"
  • "D3DRM.dll is not loaded"
This error is usually a sign that the d3drm.dll file has been deleted, corrupted or altered in such a way that makes it unusable to your program.
To fix errors like this:
1. Install the latest version of Microsoft DirectX. It will fix the d3drm.dll error.
2. Uninstall the game or software program and then reinstall it again.
3. Update the drivers for your video card.
4. If it doesn,t work copy d3drm.dll file to the system folder.
Hope it helps.
