Right first off im assuming this isn't a full size keyboard with the number pad on the right.

so when you have a laptop keyboard some characters share with others, in your case numb lock has been pressed and is replacing the letter u with 4

hope this helps

Certain letter keys give me numbers instead of the letter on my verbatim wireless keyboard and mouse

Sounds like NUMlock, or another function key like that. Are those numbers on the keys themselves? That's a common problem for laptop keyboards that do not have number pads.

Cannot open Sentry Safe ESB-3 batteries dead, cannot find keys

To order replacement keys, for small chests and files, you will need to know the key numbers which can be found right around where the key goes in. It should be a stamped number, letters, or both located around the keyhole. For Personal, Home and Home/Office Safes, you will need the model number and serial number. I think that the most economical place to buy keys is from www.SentrySafeShop.com. You can do a search for "lost keys" and it will give you a screen where you can enter your model number and key number. (It is a very easy screen to use. They just need 1.)Model # and 2.)Serial or Key #.)

In Summary:
For Small Chests or Files: A lock reference number is required. It will be a letter, a number, a letter and number, or "blank" (no letter or number), engraved/located on the silver cylinder of the lock. These are model numbers 0500, 1100, 1170, etc...

For Personal, Home and Home/Office Safes: (model numbers will begin with: S0, S3, S4, S5; I0, I3, I4, I5; A3, A4, A5; J3, J4, J5; L0, L3, ,CS,CSW,DA,DS,KS,KSW,MS,MSW,OA,OS,and SC): Indicate your model number and the safe serial number found on the front right-hand side of the door, between the hinges.
Here is the direct link to the key replacement screen: http://www.sentrysafeshop.com/Keys-Sentry-Safe-Replacement-Keys-p/keys.htm

When i divide it gives me a fraction answer. eg, 4/3 = 4/3 instead of 1.33

Hi,
You are not specifying the brand and model number of your calculator and that makes things more difficult for me. On the Casio calculators (FX-300ES, FX-115ES, FX-991ES) there is key labeled [S to D] which toggles between Fractions/Radicals To Decimals.
On other calculators (Sharp), the key may be labeled F To E.
You should look for a key that has two letters with a two-sided arrow linking the letters.

Why I even try to answer a question that lacks basic information and give the opportunity to the asker to shoot me dead is beyond me.

Anyway, I hope it helps.

After many years have misplaced the instruction manual for our Vista 200. Need to know how to set up names and numbers for the automatic dialling feature. tdijimmy@hotmail.com

First, ensure the display is bright enough. If it is not, press successively on the "Brightness key" that is located on the top of the phone above the "Memory key". You have 8 brightness settings. Note that the "Brightness key" has no label.

You are now ready to start programming.

1. Press the "Memory key". It is labelled "Memory" and is located above the "Memory keys" numbered 1 to 10 on the right-hand side of the phone.

2. Press the "Memory key" you want to program. (1 to 10)

3. Enter the number you want to program using the "Dialling keys"
1, 2, 3,
4, 5, 6,
7, 8, 9,
*, 0, #

4. Once the phone number is entered, press the "Memory key" again.

5. Now enter the "Name" for the phone number you just entered. To do this, you press the "Dialling keys" as follows:
For A press the "2" key once,
For B press the "2" key 2 times,
For C press the "2" key 2 times,
For Q press the "7" key 2 times,
For Z press the "9" key 4 times.
Use the same for all letters.

To go to the next letter, press the "Right arrow key".
For a space, press the "Right arrow key".

6. Once the name is entered, press the "Memory key" one last time. You are done.

7. To test it, press the "Memory key" you just programmed.

About fixed dialing
If you enable fixed dialing number (FDN) mode, your device only makes calls to contacts on your FDN list. Your device can dial emergency numbers in FDN mode, even if the numbers are not in the FDN list. If your service provider plan includes SMS, you can also send SMS messages to contacts on your FDN list

so if you have this enabled chances are you have to turn it off.
this is how you turn it on so you should be able to use it as a guide to turn it off.

Turn on fixed dialing
1. In the phone options, click FDN Phone List.
2. Click the trackwheel.
3. Click Enable FDN mode.
4. Type the PIN2 code provided by your service provider.
