  • use a punch to set a dimple for drilling a hole
  • use proper size drill matching to the desired tap
  • thread the hole using the tap with cutting oil
  • go slow, forward 1/2 turn or so and reverse 1/4 turn, repeat until completely threaded
  • Clean materiel from hole
  • Using a Die is similar

Pedal is stripped out and keeps comming off.

Best solution should be to get a tap and die and fix the threads, this is assuming that you don't want to buy the crank or pedal necessary to make the fix the expensive way. You can never go wrong with a tap and die set, they pay for themselves unless you go super cheap, which at a good hardware store is hard to do. Ask around if you need some other info...

My crank shaft is nacked at the end wear the fred is some one hit with a hammer so i need anthoer one

You will spend $300 on a new crank plus the $700 cost of installing it. Would you like to spend $1000 or $125 on the repair? Just go to Sears an purchase a metric Tap and Die set. Now you have a tool that will repair the messed up threads on the crank and will also repair threads on nuts and threaded holes. Just be sure the set that you buy has a large enough die for the crank. You could also just buy the single die and the die holder for even less cost. Go to this site if Sears doesn't have what you need.

A “very helpful” rating for this answer? Thanks! < < And it doesn’t cost anything extra!

Starts but won't stay running

Have someone help you do the following. Turn on the vehicle, before it dies, quickly tap the idle air control valve with a wrench or anything you have. If the engine does not die after you tap the IAC,this means that the IAC is faulty. The IAC is under the plastic plate that is behind the throttle body.
