Multiple pc laptops able to connect, Mac won't

I have the Belkin F5D7230-4. Two PC laptops are able to connect wirelessly with no problem. The Mac (in PC mode) shows that the Network Connection is now connected and all but all I get is "You are not connnected to the internet" The Mac connects fine when hardwired.

U can not turn OFF and then RESET :) Hehe

NO POWER NO RESET

kindly turn the power ON to router and then press the RESET button at the back of router for 30 SEC and when ur router blinks lights and restart it self that means u have resetted ur router to factory default settings

but ur problem seems like wireless card driver or hardware problem to me bcoz ur PC connects ok but MAC dont connect that means router workd fine , but may be some settings problem u can rESET and check

and kindly rate me WELL !

F7D8302V1 is only broadcasting the 2.4ghz Wireless G SSID (SSID = Belkin.5d94 ) The 5ghz Wireless N SSID is set to "MyTV". This SSID doesn't show up as broadcasting on any devices...

Hello,
This might not actually be an issue. The 5ghz band is not available on a lot of devices. Unless your device says it supports 5ghz, you will not see it. All cell phones I know of, blackberry's, iphones, etc... use wireless G, or N 2.4ghz. New devices like HD streaming video players, media extenders, 2010-2011 MAC's and some new PC laptops support the 5ghz band. Your configuration screen shot looks fine. Verify that your devices support 5ghz.
My MAC book PRo 2011 supports 5ghz and so does my Asus Laptop. These two devices connect to the 5ghz and all my other devices, including my blackberry, connect to 2.4ghz.
Regards, Chris

  4. ok also firewall and anti virus lock the signal is we are talking wireless
  5. Now if even using cable trough router you still haven't connection means maybe there's not connection
  6. so we need to know what is the status of the light in your your router Green Yellow or Red
  7. Green there is a connection
  8. Yellow only laptop and router re connecting

Problems setting up new macs and a new wireless system with a PC

The MAC address of the network card on the PC is probably registered with Tiscali. The easiest thing to do is to Connect the Belkin router to the internet, then go into the config and clone the MAC address of the windows PC. Once this is done, then you can either plug in the airport express, or configure wifi for the Macs from the belkin.

Wireless connection

Access the routers admin page with the hardwired pc.  http://*gateway*  right click network status on pc and get gateway.  Google the model you have for the default passwords.  Setup your wifi security then do the same to your laptop and attempt to connect again.  Bad settings somewhere.

Belkin N router will not let Mac notebook connect now that N/G/B is enabled

The router does not care what brand of computer that wants access, only a MAC address. If you can see it in the wireless scan then you have a configuration setting to resolve. Steve Medley
