SOURCE: how can i change pets on pet pals for leapster

Turn on your child's Leapster Explorer handheld.
When the SIGN-IN menu shows up, press the left D-pad and Hint button at the same time.

This will give you the PARENT SETTINGS menu.
You will need to start them from scratch to choose a new pet. It is sad but at current it is the only way to choose a new pet.

What Are Some Complications of Fleas in Dogs and cats?

Well, I have to say that I have witnessed this on my pet, and I can never forget those horrible days in which I and my pet had suffered a lot with Fleas. I had a tough time taking caring of my pet and my pet was simply suffering from pain, poor thing and I felt really sad for it. Since Fleas can consume 15 times their own body weight in blood, they caused anaemia and a significant amount of blood loss to my pet. As mine was a young puppy, it was losing an inadequate number of red blood cells and It was almost like life-threatening. I have to mention the Nitenpyram, that indeed became a life saver for my little puppy. I suggest you try it u too if you want to fight against the puppies in the quickest ways.

How do veterinarians put a pet to sleep?

First a gentle sedative is administered in such a way that they will barely notice. There is no pain or distress during this or at any time during the procedure, your pet simply drifts into a peaceful sleep. The next stage of the process involves giving the animal an anaesthetic agent that causes their heart to slow and stop. They will pass away quickly after the injection has been administered. Very occasionally, as the animal slips into unconsciousness, they will seem to take a deep breath or exhale loudly and there are sometimes involuntary muscle twitches as the body shuts down. This is perfectly natural and is not a sign that anything has gone wrong nor that your pets feels any pain.

What does "there is no definite scintigraphic evidence for active hypermetabolic neoplastic disease" mean?

Hello Peggy

You should really be asking a physician rather than a bunch of amateurs on a site like this. It tells me that they used a radioactive dye (scintigraphic evidence) and injected it into you before or during the scan to light up your lungs from the inside. The results show there is no active disease (tumor).

is the physiological state of increased rate of metabolic activity and is characterized by an abnormal increase in the body's basal metabolic rate.

The word neoplasm, meaning new growth in Greek, refers to any abnormal growth, whether malignant or benign. Neoplastic disease refers to both malignant and benign growths. All types of cancer fall into the category of malignant neoplastic diseases.

So it is good, your lungs are clear of cancer :>)

How to take Dogs temperature?
Required Things:

• Digital pet thermometer

• Lubrication, such as petroleum jelly or mineral oil

• Soap and water

• Rubbing alcohol

For a breeder it is mandatory to know why their pet not feeling well? Why he/she has lack of appetite, restless, and not involved in daily activities. These are signs and symptoms suggested that their pet is ill. Fever can be in these illnesses. It requires special attention. A dog is not express like human when it gets fever, and has not signs (e.g. warm skin, and trembling). For these reasons it is important to know and learn how to take temperatures reading of fever as a vet can do it. It can be done very impressively to follow the following steps:

First of all you should have a Digital pet thermometer; it can be bought by local market.

For your help call somebody who hold the dog when you take the readings.

Do clean your Digital pet thermometer with prescribed rubbing alcohol.

Before taking a temperature apply lubricant (i.e. petroleum jelly or mineral oil).

Pick dog\'s tail upward and insert thermometer gently into your dog\'s rectum. Put it into half of the length of the thermometer.

Grasp the thermometer in that position until it beeps, or for 1 to 2 minutes.

Pull it out and look at it to see what your dog\'s temperature is.

The normal body temperature should between 100.5 to 102.5 degrees Fahrenheit

Clean the thermometer thoroughly with semi-hot water and prescribed soap

Ask your vet if temperature is low or high with sign of sickness.

During the learning process (dog\'s temperature measurement process), be relaxed and don\'t show nervousness to your canine. This will add to the pet\'s irritation.

Be very conscious during all the process of taking temperature, don\'t insert thermometer into deep of dog\'s rectum, it can be a cause of pain.

Tie a cord around the other end of the thermometer so that if it slips or accidentally go into your dog\'s rectum too deeply, you will be able to easily pull it back.

Remember a digital pet thermometer is best than an oral human thermometer to measure dog\'s temperature. Conventional sort (contains mercury) can be very dangerous if accidentally broken.

Always prefer rectal digital thermometer to take a temperature reading of pet.

Ear thermometer is also available in market but it is not as accurate as rectal thermometer is.

Never strive to take your canine\'s temperature if he/she is very irritated or very hyper. If you do so, it could be dangerous for pet. Be patience until dog calms down when he/she calm down then attempt to insert the thermometer.

Without lubrication insertion may be dangerous action it can cause the pain.

Self medication is prohibited if the temperature of pet is very low/high.

Do not get anger with your canine if he/she will not get calm enough to permit you to insert the thermometer. Take him/her to your vet if you are not capable to take your dog\'s temperature.

How do I determine if my pet has fleas?

Hello, this is William here and I have come to share with you what I know about the deadly Flea sin dogs and cats. Fleas thrive mostly in warm, humid environments, and feed on the blood of their hosts. And it is always the Dogs who more frequently play host to the cat flea. Some common signs that give you a hint that your pet might soon be affected or has already affected your pet are that pale gums, tapeworm, Excessive itching or scratching, licking or biting skin, Flea eggs in dog's environment, Droppings or flea-dirt in Dog's Coat. So check out regularly id your pet is having these symptoms, and if you find any of these I would surely recommend you to use effective medicines for this like the Nitenpyram or even the Generic Capstar. So keep a watch out for your pets, to keep them sound and safe.
