Not being able to scan properly and improper colors are most often caused by glitches in the software. Try reinstalling your driver with a new updated driver for your machine.
Here is a link to the OEM page:http://www.kodak.com/global/en/service/downloads/dln_ekn033540.jhtml?pq-path=9106
This is the all in one driver. Install this and try again and it should fix it. Let me know if it helps.

is the colour you print is pure yellow (100% or mixed like deep yellow, mixed with little magenta). Is the yeloow nozzle is perfect.
Nozzle check in not always guarantee te print out is good. Cause, when the flow of ink is not good, after the ink spray form the head, the space inside head not fill by ink.

Reset your counter back to zero. But for some you must also check the waste bin status. Need disassembling this is to ensure ink will not overflow from your printer.
Reseting is only software base. Try this link
Post again if you cannot still got it.

mariann346i am having the same problem with my EPSON RX 595 printer.
i can not print in black and white, it always prints in green.
i also notice something els, even after refilling my six cartridges
and only trying to print in black and white, my yellow ink is running out just as fast as my black so i guess they are somehow mixing together. you should check to make sure your yellow isn`t doing the same.
