this might be due to some connection prob or short circuitry occuring in the phone circuits..
try to see i fthe headset socket is clean of any metal impurities and then if there is visibly wrong outside, take it to th technician.
its not advisable to open the set ourselves

on your phone press the green send button once. that will bring up your call log. then press the menu button and that will bring up a new screen. scroll down until you find the options and select it. it will then bring up the phone options menu. selct general options and then you will be able to change you answer options

What service provider? With T-Mobile you simply hold the #1 key for a couple seconds and it takes you to your voicemail. Check with your cellular company.

Turn off the computer, then hit the power button to
back on and immediately start hitting the F8 key repeatedly until you
MODE. Take the Safe Mode With Networking option (this will give you
internet connectivity so you can view the manual later) and let it boot
up. Safe Mode will look
different to you, the screen will be darker and the icons bigger, this
normal. Check your Power Options in the Control Panel to set your Sleep
Mode and Hibernation up higher or set it to NEVER. Click Start/Control
Panel and look for Power Option (it might be under System and
is a link to your user manual. You want to go to Pages 77 and 78 where
it talks about changing the Power Plan. You want to select Change
Advanced Settings as it talks about on pages 78 and you will be allowed
to change the hibernate and sleep settings.
