Set up the router to new modonm

It should be simple to just plug the modem into the Internet (WAN) port on the Linksys Router. You should plug the line from the wall to the modem then the modem to the Linksys router. The router should "ask" the modem for an IP address. The modem should have lights on it. Make sure that the DSL or Internet net light is solid or at least flickering.

Router stopped working.

As long as the power light stays solid, then the router is fine. You need to reconfigure the router for it to receive internet connection from the modem.

Call your Internet Service Provider.

Modem is not working

the fact that the computer and modem are not in contact with each other, means that we really don't know that the modem is not connected to the internet. i'll assume you've tried all lan ports on the modem.

did you attempt a connection with another computer? another modem?

The modem has green lights for power, but the DSL light either flickers green or goes to solid red.

Try power turning off once and if still remains the problem then the problem could be with internet service provider so contact them once. and if they say we are good then you need to look at internal bugs.
for that visit following website where you can find complete service manuals.
