Have you tried using a different browser? Try downloading Mozilla Firefox. If your problem is solved, then you will nkow that is is a browser problem...If you gain access to other websites then you might have a problem with the security settings in Internet Explorer. You could try lowering your security settings in Internet Explorer in order to gain access to Facebook. Hope this helps.

Change your internet browser , and delete cookies first from the temporary internet files.

Also check that you have update your Java application and it is installed
